    This little plasma cutter surprised me at how well it cuts, I bought it primarily to cut some of the stuff on the flat bed I’m building, but I can see so many more uses for it than just that and at the price I think everyone should own one!

      Thanks I plan to I’ve just been so busy lately with work and side jobs I have had almost no time to film anything and when I do I forget something important. I’m hoping to film again in a few weeks or so when I build my new grill guard for my Explorer that will also serve as a winch plate to mount a winch on

      It’s a good plasma cutter for the price I wish I had bought it a lot sooner

    What do you think would be the best 140-160A MIG welder "with an inductance control" for CO2? I'm considering the HF Titanium $399.99. It's hard to find the inductance control on the cheap MIG's.

    • @adamswelding5052
      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety +1

      Protected Profile the titanium welders from hf look pretty decent especially that 140 never used one of them but definitely going to pick one up when they open the hf in my town in a couple months! I know a guy who has one of them on his welding rig I can ask him if he thinks it’s worth picking up or not for you

      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety +1

      Protected Profile hey he got back to me quickly, said it runs good off of his miller trailblazer 325 he uses it for metal too thin to weld with stick in his trailblazer and he only welds up to 3/16” with it and anything 1/4” and thick he just stick welds. Hope that is helpful!!!

    • @massa-blasta
      @massa-blasta Před 5 lety

      @@adamswelding5052 that's what I wanted it for, steel tubing and light gauge. Run it on a refillable CO2 paintball tank using high inductance for tacking stuff together.

    • @adamswelding5052
      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety

      Hmm don’t know how well that would work but I know miller had a version of it’s suitcase welder several years back I think it was called the passport or something like that that used those. Seems expensive to refill though.

    • @massa-blasta
      @massa-blasta Před 5 lety +1

      @@adamswelding5052 it's only worth it if you can refill yourself from a full bottle. I might buy a couple of soda streams off Craig's that come with extra gas bottles, throw away the sodastream and keep the bottles. Cheaper to fill than C25 and better for under-powered MIG. I just compared the specs on the Titanium to the Lincoln Pro 140. Titanium had better duty cycle and Inductance Adjustment for CO2, Lincoln had better wire speed control (higher and lower) and costs a lot more, but that's it. Avoid the Lincoln HD (Home Depot) models, totally.

    Hi Adam, I have a 3 prong 240 outlet. How can I hook up this 220 ?

    • @adamswelding5052
      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety +1

      I show that in my video titled new plasma cutter i show setting up the machine in that video and I show how I wired my plug at the 7 minute park

      @@adamswelding5052 yes I saw that part. Thank for doing that and the other details. Very helpful. So I just go buy a bigger 240 plug and hook it up the same way. I am very green at this wiring thing. I bought the suncoo already

    what is the air cfm requirements?

    • @adamswelding5052
      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety

      Not exactly sure on the cfm but it only needs 60psi to cut with and can run off a hf small air compressor so it should run on just about any air compressor

    • @randymack1782
      @randymack1782 Před 5 lety +1

      ok, thanks, I was looking and couldn't find it online, I don't want to have to drag out my big gas powered compressor, but I have a few smaller ones. I think I will give the plasma cutter a try, after I pay my bills off next week
