Yo I’m a guy and I’ve always thought I was too linky and tall to dance but you just made me realize how uncomfortable I am with these movements. I can finally dance to music now I’ve literally never danced in front of people besides a slight sway or something. Ive been jumping around in front of my mirror for like 20 min this is incredible

I’m actually learning to DJ and make music on the side. I absolutely love music but I was never a dancer I always just stuck to making the music because it felt so good. Thank you bc I could be performing soon :)

thats so true 😭 I noticed that I used to dance sorta closed in and boxy. It's probably because of how not confident I was. I struggle making big moves as well when the dance is fast paced or requires a lot of energy
as a person who doesnt dance, the box dont exist💀😭
I feel like a key part ot dance is appearing comfident and this technique helps promote that vibe!

As a dancer my dance teacher quickly taught me (and the rest of the team) not to stay in the box,we would travle across the stage especily for my solos and ballet.
