Reaction and 1v1 For Two Goals
This competitive 1v1 activity focuses on developing reaction ability, agility, dribbling and feinting skills of the players.
4 different coloured cones are used to mark the playing field.
The playing area is approx. 10x10 meters.
Two small goals are placed outside the playing field.
Players work in pairs.
The coach holds the balls and 4 same coloured cones as the area is marked with.
Variation 1:
The players are waiting for the coach's command in the middle. The coach calls a colour and the players must react as quickly as they can. They have to turn around the called colored cone. The quicker who gets first in the area receives the ball from the coach and tries to score to either of the two goals outside. The defender tries to intercept the ball to become an attacker.
Variation 2:
The coach gives the sign by lifting a cone to determine the running direction to the players. The progression is the same as in the first variation.
