I love how the certain mods and way the characters move feels reminiscent of the Prototype Ghostbusters game that leaked years ago.

You won't be able to progress the narrative or unlockables. However you do have access to all the levels / acts in the game in skirmish right? It's just telling you that so when you go to play online, you gotta unlock normal way?

When u choose a Misson the before the bell goes should off said " we got one" pre ordered my one day to go.

The bots are surprisingly efficient
How do you get the goggles on your head? I didn't see them selectable in the customization menu
When you assign them as part of your gear within the equipment customization menu, they become part of your player model.

@@GhostbustersNews Are you able to switch between online and offline modes without having to disable your internet connection? Or can you only play in Skirmish Mode if it detects you have no internet connection?
@@richardgarrison2438 You can, however, if connected, you'll need to unlock the items by playing matches, either with players or bots.

Will you need both an internet connection and Playstation Plus / Xbox Live Gold to play the online mode? Or are you able to play solo online without having to have Playstation Plus / Xbox Live Gold?

I just completed Ghostbusters the video game remastered I'm planning on getting this one but I'm only going to do single player I don't really play with friends

The bots are pretty good!
There seems to be a problem with playing the offline mode. I cannot access anything (jobs, change gear, customize ghostbuster, change ghost, etc.). Not sure if you need to be at a certain part in the story before you get access to stuff (which makes no sense). Or is it just a bug in my version of the game (I have the PS4 version)? Hopefully, Illfonic will fix this so players can still have access to costumes, gear, jobs, ghost class change, haunt job, etc.
I completed the tutorial and still cannot access anything offline. I can only wander around the firehouse. Can't play matches at all offline
I'm wondering now if you, actually, have to complete the entire story. Unless we got a bug in our versions. I have the PS4 version. Again, I really hope the devs fix this as it really defeats the purpose of being able to play offline.
Same here I'm on ps4... I finished the Ghostbuster tutorial, I did the ghost tutorial and I played to act 3, but I still can't access offline skirmish. We need answers because I didn't pre order this game to play online only.
@@richardgarrison2438 I'm pretty sure you know this by now, but they fixed offline mode halfway. Now you can access jobs offline. The only issue now is you can't pick the ghost you want to play as, and sometimes if you pick "Ghostbusters" side they put you as a "Ghost" and vice versa. They have a new patch on the way, hope it's fixed.
Can you progress the story forward all offline? If you cannot are all the upgrades unlocked.
It looks like you cannot progress the story because stats and data is not saved while offline. However, everything is unlocked. :D
If so that's gonna suck for Ps4 players such as myself who have to pay membership just to play online

Play offline doesn’t show for me.
How are you getting offline to work? I enter the Firehouse but the only thing the game will let me do is talk to the three characters. No prompt to start jobs?!

@@richardgarrison2438 I'm currently on Act 2 and still nothing in offline. I'm assuming Act 2 is still part of the tutorial or do I need to work through a bit more of the game?
Hmmmm.....I'm hoping you don't need to complete all Acts before you can access the stuff in Skirmish Mode. Really takes away the point of being able to play offline.

EDIT: I got a message on their Discord server that it is a known issue and they are investigating it. So, hopefully, it will be fixed soon. :)

Bots appear to be randomized, or at the very least, grabbed from an assortment of premade models.
do you get xp in single player still or is it like back 4 blood where single player locks xp progresss
As long as you're connected online, you can gain XP while playing against/with bots.
@@GhostbustersNews ok cool i might get it on sale for $25. was scared i was going to have to play with stupid bots since only 1 person on my friends list owns this game and ive never seen him actually actively playing it, at least i can get achievements hopefully and lv up if im stuck forced to play with braindead bots lol
I have a question. Are the rifts always in the same location every time the same stage is replayed? or is it randomized?
I ask because I'd hate to think going into a multiplayer game and the other players who are more seasoned will head straight for the rift, killing off all the fun of searching and exploring with the PKE meter.
Same can be said in a single player game. Already knowing where to go. The first Ghostbusters game was a simple (but great) playthrough, but a second playthrough led to less and less mystery and exploration in finding the ghosts. I would have to play that game every two or three years to forget everything just to start fresh in my mind again.

@@richwatson1985 It can be both. You can just do a private lobby and do Ai bot and Ai ghost if you want :)

@@richwatson1985 Yes! No progression is made in offline mode (no internet connection) but progress is made when you play online. I've been playing online in a private match with 3 AI and AI controlled ghost. It's great fun :)
