  • We're back with the UNI-T UT8805E multimeter! Remember those quirks from the previous review? UNI-T listened to your feedback and sent over a brand new revision. Let's see if they addressed the buzzer issues, fan noise, and more!
    In this video, you'll discover:
How UNI-T tackled the problems identified earlier (buzzer, fan noise, app connectivity, etc.)
A comparison of the old and new firmware versions
A sneak peek inside the newer revision - any hardware changes?
Plans for a future Noctua fan mod (with thermal testing!)

Nice video, but now I wonder how to check what revision my local shop will have... I guess I have to ask them.

  • @TYGAMatt

Great to see that UNI-T not only listened to your complaints, but then actually did something about it. Oh and by the way, my offer to take that old glitchy unit off your hands still stands. 😊😊

  • @Sylvan_dB

It's great that you received a new version of the hardware. What about the normal customers?

  • @Ruth_Asada

The ut8806e is not yet widely sold, but a service manual is already available for it

  • @TheDefpom

Try using rubber fan mounts, that will help get the noise down a bit.

  • @jaro6985

Maybe carefully try without a fan, see if it overheats. Can use the saran wrap technique.

I like this vlogers…They always receive a free stuff but wil need to pay for a lemon😅
