I put them on my Pacifica, very quick and easy. I just left the prop rod in place in case they fail. It’s really nice to have that hood self raise and stay up! Thanks for the vid.
Thank you for sharing this. I just installed mine. Works great! I would like to offer an observation that you have the left and right upper brackets switched. The ball should be toward the front of the vehicle according to the instruction sheet. That's why you had to lower the hood slightly to install the struts. I installed mine with ball forward and the strut length was perfect. Not meant to criticize but to help others who install this fantastic hood strut kit.
