Numerous high-profile cases of alleged hauntings have originated from the British Isles, from the poltergeist activity and demonic possession at Enfield to the unsettling apparitions witnessed at Borley Rectory. Sadly there's a good reason for both the Beacons and Snowdonia being aircraft graveyards. They were extensively used during the late world war for training purposes, being sufficiently far from the front line to be reasonably safe from the Luftwaffe. Unfortunately mountains, often cloudy or bad weather and trainee pilots and navigators make a very lethal combination.....
What set off the poltergeist was the fact that Bill opened the toilet door without knocking while the ghost was using it. Bottom (no pun intended) line is: when a door is shut, always knock before entering.
My grandfather built a house in Upland at the foot of Mt. Baldy largely out of rejected headstones carved in granite. The writing always pointed at the ground or else facing outwards. I can just imagine the face of someone renovating and seeing all the gravestone inscriptions!

He is not lying. I am the Lady who bought the estate. Many of the dead guys are pissed right off that their headstones are my house and that I conduct dance lessons for the local girls on top of their graves. They (the dead guys) try to freak me out by drinking all my liqour and smoking all my hashish in the middle of the night because i always wake up to empty liquor bottles and an empty pipe.

@@06eyM3I think some of them ghosts are haunting my girlfriend's butt. You should hear some of the ungodly sounds that come out of it. And there's sometimes the smell of death that rises from it(especially after curry night)

There's an older channel 4 TV offering called hellfire farm. It's quite hard to find online but I managed to search it out not long after the witch farm started.

There's a show on the iPlayer called the ghost the grave and the girl or something like that. It was ok but a bit dry. Unfortunately it's a little too far for me to justify a day trip especially since there's a guy living quite peacefully there.

The hellfire club in the mountains looking down on Dublin city in Ireland might make for a good episode, built as a hunting lodge out of prehistoric stone circle which was close by, later used by the hellfire club until it burned to the ground taking with it most of its members many years later.

The main thing I don't like about Bedtime Stories? That the stories aren't long enough. Each episode needs to be at least an hour.
As far as unusually high electric bills....turn everything off and watch the meter...if it's moving, someone is " borrowing" electricity from you . Then it's a hunt to find where....usually not hard at all.

I've been craving a good story and Rich, Simon, Andrew, and everyone else at BTS have once again delivered excellence. My heart goes out to the family of the homestead, and a rude gesture to the fool who decided desecrated graves would make for good building material. I've also noticed that psychics and ghost hunters tend to make things worse when they show up.

I've recently been watching a lot of podcasts on exorcism, psychics, astrology, etc. and their relation to the demonic, and apparently psychics receive their information from demons, as those abilities obviously aren't natural human abilities. If you're religious and believe in this kind of stuff, then it stands to reason that psychics and ghost hunters invite demons into these places when they think they're helping.

While this is yet another great video, and I'm looking forward to the second part, I have to ask how Liz could have positively identified Marion Holborn as the 'Faceless Woman' she had seen.
The hairstyle, maybe? That had me confused as well.
People have many distinguishing features aside from just eyes, nose and mouth. She might have identified the same hair, same shape of body, same shape of face etc.
@@BedtimeStoriesChannel That's an excellent point. But she saw a faceless old woman in an upstairs window while she was outside. That alone would make it hard to recognise someone you're not familiar with when viewing a photograph.
All that being said, it is still a good story, and you *_did_* present it in your usual excellent way, both this one and Part two.
if Bedtime stories did more looking into any of these stories on their own they might be able to tell you, otherwise write the script in a way that leaves less to the imagination. @@thefurrybastard1964 ...I mean that's what I would do if I had a channel with almost a million subs and I was shamelessly trying to turn it into at least 5 full time careers... but alas...

I love these guys so much. So glad to see Mr ballen giving them the love they deserve still. Was listening to these guys before mr B was on CZcams and man alive getting to listen to these people and mr B. then also top 5’s and the declassified CZcams group of channels yea man it’s been a real treat that cable tv could absolutely never in a million years produce for me. Creators like bedtime stories is what makes CZcams extremely unique and worth putting up with the bs yt pulls on the daily lol.

HOLOSKY podcast just finished up a 5 parter on this story and I'm excited to hear it again since you both have different styles.
This is where i do my research. It's so rich in lore and sightings. I've spent years in Wales studying certain phenomena. I've interviewed people personally and collected a wealth of information I find the whole area fascinating.
The whole story about Mr. Goth , Derek, i believe his first name is. Anyway, it's one such case I've studied, and it's astounding. If you're not able to get to the area, so are limited to the internet. Richard D hall covers the case in his documentary "human mutilations and NATO" , its worth checking out if you're unaware.
There is a small but of Wales also worth looking at called Ynyslas. Beautiful but slightly spooky!

I think the poltergeist is here. Texas and it’s 31F outside…and our heater decided nope. The first cold day of the season and damn heater decided it’s the perfect time to be possessed 😂😂😂. It’s terrifying especially when you hate being cold

As others have said, so happy to see this on BTS. The BBC4 ‘Witch Farm’ is great and an extended explanation.
Whilst the Witch Farm gives very credible explanations for much of the story, there are many terrifying experiences it cannot clarify.
