Levy: *exists*
Hikaru: that’s actually not a good move.
fr he just calling wrong all of levy's moves
im no gm so i wouldn understand of course but still xd
This video gave me schizophrenia. Well done.
This sort of thing blows my mind. I'm never likely to meet anyone in person who is as good as Levy. And then there's Hikaru, and that level.
😆 Hikaru…serious opponent, down to business. Levi goes wild while seeming to offer some resistance.
u just commited a crime
Both far exceed my calculations. And quite comical.
who tf edited this lmao
Why stop at two? Why not have an entire stadium of people talking over each other hahaha
Literally
Can’t follow this
im not one to judge whether or not hikaru judging levys moves is good or not but the vibe I get from hikaru is he thinks he is so good, which he is, but then he puts down levy and just insults levys abilities and he even said he didn’t think levy would ever make it to gm title, which I think is entirely possible given enough time
Hikaru just wears his thoughts and emotions on his sleeves. He'll put himself down too when narrating about chess... Like if you haven't seen it, czcams.com/video/R1iHtoPQ7RA/video.html is hilarious. He must know there are cameras, but his facial expressions in a public tournament are just priceless. He's basically a living chess meme, and probably the worst poker player in existence 😂
@@tisamemo exactly, he's not actively trying to be toxic or condescending. When he plays chess everything he says is basically his inner dialogue. So of course he's instantly going to notice every miniscule mistake his opponents make and take note of it, he's literally just that good. I honestly think we're lucky to get the opportunity to watch masters of their craft like Hikaru and Magnus go into this much detail about their thought process.
Learn to know people.
If I play my friend and beat him, I will roast him hard and make him never forget about it for the next 6 months or so too
Accurate Hikaru is an awful person but levy comes pretty close. They lack any semblance of social cues
The most arrogant talentless hacks in the same game
3:35 can someone please *PLEASE* Explain To Me why levy had to sacrifice his queen there I can’t see it for the life of me
Not fully calculating but the bishop is straight up forking the knight and queen and Hikaru is threatening to win the knight for free (3-0 = 3), whereas if levy sacced the queen first then it's a queen for a bishop and a rook (9-3-5 = 1)
Hikaru forced a bishop fork, forking Levy’s queen and knight.
In that situation Levy either runs his queen and loses the knight for free, or just takes with his queen and force a rook + bishop trade
