I have a solution for your anxiety for playing in online chess against better people. Simply put a little blackout on top of their name. So you can't see who you're playing against until after the game. Since your entire anxiety is because of whom you're playing against, it would be logical to remove that out of the equation. You will literally have to play every game as if it was Schrodinger's cat. You will play with the knowledge that you can both be playing against the best and the worst players. And with that you will have nothing to be anxious about, because you will come into each game with the same mentality. "It's just a player."
How do you remove the anxiety and excitement when you're about to win?
@@professionalidiot4987 win more often

@@evad7933 Mistake = Any sub-optimal move. Blunder = Unnecessarily forfeiting a piece
@@JoshmmcKK Whats an inaccuracy vs a mistake?
@@Cripplified Accuracy measures how similar your moves are to the ones a strong chess computer would have made in your position. An innacurate move is one that a chess engine would consider a poor choice.
Most mistakes will register as being "innaccurate" but not all innaccurate moves are necessarily mistakes. Sometimes you make a moved based on information about your opponent that the engine couldn't possibly know and it works well for you even though its not what the engine would have done.

Yeah, it's over-analyzed for bullet, but there's a lot of really instructive moments in this game. Excellent.

With a decent opening you'd end up having equal pieces but it all matters how you've positioned and used the remaining pieces. GM's are good at calculating this.
