Hi, i was looking forward in this episode to you filling the master cylinder and bleeding the clutch, as I'm about to do this on my 1991 st 1100.
Thanks Victor, apologies, it took a while to bleed as everything had been replaced, so decided not to film it
Great job Keith all looking good it's all coming together nicely keep going mate your vids are fab and helpful
Thanks Colin, its getting there, glad you like the vids, stay tuned
i'm replacing mine soon thanks for the video i now knw what im up against
Cheers Steve, hope it helps, its a fun job
Wicked installment on the st, I bloody hate circlips so rather you than me 😂
Thanks Dan, appreciate it, i don't like them either.
Just watch that and I no have do it thank you doing great slow video how do it now
Thanks
No problem 👍
Don't really know when you did this series? But the big question is where can I get parts for an 94 ST 1100?
Thanks Clyde, started it last year, it is still ongoing, more episodes coming in the next couple of weeks, i get my parts from Wemoto.com here is a link www.wemoto.com/search?q=st1100 just choose your bike and there is a huge list of parts
Did you install the new circlip and rubber dust seal in the wrong order? During the disassembly, you showed us how the rubber seal is held in by the circlip. But when rebuilding it, you installed the circlip before the seal. I'm about to do this job on my ST1100, just curious what the order ought to be! Thank you for this excellent series
Thanks scbret, appreciate your comment, this is the diagram i followed

many things where wrong with this bike, whether parts were built properly is a mystery, hope this helps, glad you enjoy the series, there will be more coming soon
Inside the master cylinder, at the bottom in the recess (entry / exit hole) there is a small washer in the recess it has a "tab" on its side (at 4:29); what is that?
What is the "bridge bar"? You used to get the clutch cylinder out
Thanks John, not sure what you mean ? i have a bridge puller to remove bearings/pistons and a breaker bar to help undo clutch nuts
@@TheAmateurBikeBuilder lol must be my dodgy hearing
is the part/repair the same for the american version of this bike?
i would imagine so, the part should be the same
I really didn't like this video because you burned so many good steps. Please show all the steps do not cut any we rukies want to see how you do them.
Thanks, i appreciate your opinion
