I actually really loved the performances of the killers in the new movie. Jack Quaid was phenomenal and Mickey Madison is such a good actress that I didn’t know she was the same girl from Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” until she revealed that she was one of the killers because that’s when she showed her psycho side very similar to the Tarantino masterpiece. Scream 2022 was also a masterpiece.

@@leenolan1469 well my opening scene would be w Sidney. N you gave me an idea for the last part of the scene. Itll be Stu in the ghostface mask coming after Sid. Right before Sid dies,she takes off his mask showing its Stu but the camera doesnt show us. Just her face,like they did in the first one. Find out at the end of the movie that its Stu. It could be one of the best Screams if they do it right but Sidney in the opening scene would be epic!

They will definitely bring Stu back eventually if they decide to make a new trilogy. It's the perfect way for the franchise to come full circle and mock what's going on in the horror genre right now. If they can bring back Micheal Myers, they can bring back Stu. Period.
Bringing Myers back was one of the worst things they ever did. Even Jamie said she would come back for reserection if they killed Laurie.
Michael Myers is immortal just like jason. Stu is a normal human being serial killer. Total Big difference.

Yeah, I think Stu is still alive, the TV falling on him felt too anti-climactic to be his big death, I think he's still out there, and Matthew is clearly excited for a return to the character, and the fans would love it, it needs to happen.

The brilliant thing about Billy and Stu being the killers in the original is that they put a psychotic twist on that whole 'Bill & Ted' buddy friendship-act and still made it hilarious.

skeet is so convincing as a heel. honestly his look and dimeanor always had me view him like that without knowing his real personality. as good as it gets and scream both stamped this vision of him in my head that thats how he really was and seeing him so different is crazy. i know its closed minded of me but he had that odd,crazy, psychotic look to him.
Skeet and Matthew ( and the rest of the cast for that matter ) all had this perfect synergy/chemistry that will NEVER be outdone, simple as that. The sequels ( and requel ) have their moments, some more than others depending on your taste but moments is all they'll ever have compared to the first.
Omg stu needs to come back in Scream 6 cause I was so disappointed when Stu wasn’t re introduced in Scream 5
@AyoCali it would have been better if ghostface ended up being Stu cause it was at his old house playing the songs he played at the Halloween party and they never confirmed he died, hopefully in Scream 6

Honestly with how strong and personal the killer was in this movie, I'm surprised that it wasn't a beefed up Stu. The killer felt like he didn't want to lose again like before so to find out the killers were really toxic fandom fanatics threw me off.

@@DBMWM3GTR I don’t think you understood... It takes a lot of effort and hard work to portray a character. I don’t think anyone would’ve done justice to the role if it wasn’t for Skeet Ulrich. It didn’t look like he was acting. Both portrayals are iconic and shouldn’t be compared. Skeet was born for this role. Just like you said, the film wouldn’t also work out the way it did without both Skeet and Matthew.
Skeet may resemble Johnny, but his features are a lot sharper. In addition, his slender body brought a uniquely intimating physicality to the role.

Stu coming back as a completely bitter and angry psychopath would be awesome! He's going to be different considering he's spent over 20 years in prison, have him come out with a new demeaner but every now and then we get that crazy Stu we all love.
Or another way to take it is make Stu the new protagonist that helps Sydney. Gets released from prison since its over 20 years and it would make sense, killers appear.... Everybody thinks it's Stu including us the view and Sydney then have the big reveal be that Stu saves Sydney from death and beats the GhostFace. This could be a bit much but considering Stu was clearly manipulated by Billy in the film, it wouldnt be crazy
Maybe Sam goes nuts after all the times she sees Billy OR she stops taking her meds, and she becomes one of the killers and stu comes back and the two team up

The original scream was so great for so many reasons. None more so than these 2. I love the video store scene with Randy. In hindsight it completely gives away that those 2 are the killers and they are tearing the screne up.

Wow. I've been obsessed with these movies since I first saw Scream 3 in 7th grade (2001) and HAD to go back to watch 1 and 2. I've only seen Skeet in one other interview in a documentary about these films. He's pretty down to Earth and humble. Like, a dude you'd like to have a beer with. Interesting.

My youngest asked to watch Scream so we spent Easter weekend watching Scream 1-5. Great way to spend the holiday lol. I admit I did watch the original 2 more times over the weekend. Such a good movie.
