A Game Sack episode? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within my living room!?
Yes.
That quote is deserving of a steamed ham
May I see it?
No
Not only in your living room, in my bedroom too!
@@ninjapirate47 Really. Well, I'm from Utica, and I've never heard anyone use the phrase "steamed hams"
stop motion animation, clay animation for a one off episode and now you're doing hand drawn animation for another one off episode. Major props for the effort
Tony Deaf is low-key hilarious. That's a better joke than in most modern episodes
Not only that Paul Walker was a visual engineer what was he thinking? I guess he was just here until his acting career took off.
It’s sad. It’s like seeing a loved family dog going blind, bumping into things and messing everywhere. The Simpsons needs to be put down, it’s just....well, awful now.
"Is there a Tony here? Tony Deaf?"
A credits name is a far better joke than complete modern seasons. D'oh!!
Not
Comic Book Guy voice: "Best. Game Sack. Ever."
@Duke Nukem ;-;
"Note: Dave died on the way back to his home planet,"
"I have to go now, my planet needs me" - Dave
Whenever Dave's not on screen, the comments section have to ask "where's Dave?!"
@@Hellwyck Seriously though, Where's Dave?
*slide whistle intensifies*
This episode would’ve been perfect to sample Dave from previous episodes going “That’s right Joe!” and animate him nodding his head. Real Dave being back would be good tho
Hey Joe, you seem to be a perfectionist, but honestly your animation parts of yourself are great.
Thumbs up!
This episode was “excellent!”
👏
Exactly.... D'oh!
@@ozzymandias7649 beat me to it! 😂
"Excellente!"
Release the hounds
I always felt that “Road Rage” should have been called “Hit & Run”, and vice versa.
Agreed.
This seriously has to be the best episode you've ever done. Major thumbs up for the animation!
agreed. . def top 10. . NO TOP 5!!!!
Pointless fact: Virtual Bart was the first Simpsons game where the voice actors recorded actual dialogue for it. All the games before that use samples from the show.
First for home consoles. The simpsons arcade game features original dialogue as well.
Was that Metal Jesus!? Wow, I didn't know you guys were working together!
I hear if you pour a glass of tang and say "hidden gems" three times in the bathroom with the lights off, Metal Jesus appears and forgives most of your sins.
In future you can just draw Dave in screen for the show. 😁
I can't believe you got Matt Groening to do the animation
Film Roman and Gracie Studios do the animation on the Simpsons. Groening just oversees the job.
@@Hellwyck Shh! Do do doo do do do, doo do dooo
Joe, I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a Greendog or GREEEENDOG in the house!
I legit own a sealed copy.
My mom found it with a bunch of Christmas gifts after my Grandmother passed away (love you Grandma ❤🙏).
This is an underrated joke
Moleman: "Didn't this series used to have a Dave in it?"
Come on, get up! You've been warned!
love how he include the "yellowing" on the SNES!
hahaha
My therapist: Simpson Joe isn't real, he can't hurt you
Simpson Joe:
D I O ! !
Hahahhaha meme comments
You mean Joe Simpson?

@@FutaYuuta yeah meme comments are pretty cringe
Hi I'm Joe Redifer. You may remember me from such Game Sack episodes as "Piss-Poor Ports!" and "How to Clean Your Stupid Games!"
"HOMER!!! I NEED YOU TO GO BUY EGGS FOR BART!!!"
Joe was lucky to not fall victim to the grid.
Holy Mother of God he drew the episode! That's such dedication from Joe. What a legend.
Even the game footage!
@@mattjindrak lol
This reminds me that you look a bit like Hank Scorpio

@@akumaswrath6663 have you ever danced with the devil in the blue pants?
Ha, good call.
@@akumaswrath6663 heh, yes, once.
@@MrWolfTickets finally the reply I have been waiting for. I tip my hat to you sir.
Virtual Springfield on the PC was probably my most authentic Simpson experience. To be fair its a point and click adventure with no real "objective" or means to win. But it was fun to explore Springfield and see all the attention to detail/easter eggs to the most popular episodes.
Hats off for the animation, and thank you for making a comprehensive video for their releases, everybody covers Road Rage, Hit & Run, or Skateboarding.
"Hello, I´m Joe McClure, you may remember me from such Game Sack episodes as Sony Playstation VS Sega Saturn and Criminally Overlooked Games"
I'm so glad you said this because that'd exactly the vibe I got from Joe.
BEST game sack episode EVER! . . .
I know I'm in the minority, but I loved Bart vs. The Space Mutants! And I agree, the NES version is way better than the Genesis version. (Btw, to use the rocket, once you've put it on the ground, run into it to launch it at the statue. You can also fire at the E in the Kwik E Mart sign and at the windows at the retirement home.) I enjoyed the video, thanks! :)
I thought I was the only one! But then again, I was very poor growing up, and it was either that game, or reading. Which I also did a lot of.
I loved that game too. I still play it once in a while.
The sega master system was amazing, I loved the game through a d through
@@amandawashington4239 I got two games a year back then. On birthday and Christmas. If I picked a crappy one, then I was stuck with it and just learned to love it. Like some weird video game version of Stockholm syndrome I guess.
Hey, man! What's up, what's up... 😎
Bart, I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a new Game Sack episode in the house
AAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
I'm gonna be honest. The fact that you've gotten BETTER since going solo is insane. Amazing episode.
Laughed insanely hard to that MJR reference hahaha. Your best episode yet!
IT BEGINS
I liked the fact in Hit&Run for some of the races you could just go the opposite direction and reach the destination faster then the way you are suppose to go.
You did not cover Krusty's Fun House on the SNES ! I thought it was a good game.
Yeah I think it was even on the Master System
Krusty's Fun House was on Snes, Genesis, Nes and Master System.
I appreciate how much time I know it had to take to do all that animation by hand. Nicely done!
Holy cow, I was just about to eat my shorts before going to bed.
Try Adobe Character Animator. It was even used to do a live call-in Q&A with Homer Simpson during a football game a few years back.
For effort and execution this was the best video yet! Props
Great episode Joe!
And you really should check out the Commodore 64 port of Simpsons Arcade, it’s quite impressive for the hardware.
Your animation looks more like Beavis & Butthead's earlier years than The Simpsons. Speaking of which, have you ever reviewed the Beavis & Butthead games?
He did SNES, Genesis and Game Boy on one of the Same Name, Different Game episodes
Is there no end to this man's talents??? Excellent vid :)
I really got into Krusty's Super Fun House back in the day. My friends had it and we would all brainstorm together until we figured out the solution to each stage.
There’s one Simpsons themed game you forgot to mention and that’s the DMA designed Lemmings like game Krusty’s Super Funhouse for the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Amiga, Game Gear, Game Boy, NES, and of course PC.
Holy hell the intro is amazing!!!
This channel is so underrated, thank you gamesack for the quality content.
Finally. A Sponsor that I can respect :D
That's weird Joe, I was binging a bunch of Simpsons episodes and this came up.
Great dedication, Joe. I love that you animated this episode.
The fact you animated your dialog, despite how minimal, is simply astounding, Joe!
Also, on a totally different note, do you think you'll ever do a show about the games Ion Storm released? I hope so. 🙏
EDIT: Sorry, I was wrong, I mistook Ion Storm with Ion Fury.
@@julioagua your probably thinking of the Daikatana advertisement.”John Romero’s about to make you his bitch, suck it down.
@@frankf684 Oh no, I knew that... it was a different game.
@Nuke Dukem Not from the USA. But I was wrong, it was a different company, sorry.
The whole alien and glasses thing in Bart vs the Space Mutants was a parody of John Carpenter's They Live.
gotta love the production level of these videos. It's so evident how you love the subject and the effort that you put into it. A joy to watch! Thanks!
"Tony Deaf" as in "tone deaf", lol.
Haha the way you kept going to the picture of Garry Kitchen just sitting their smiling had me dying!
We’ve gotten claymation, stop motion, and now actual animation. Joe is a talented dude.
The Simpsons Arcade Game can be had via MAME too if needed. :P
It had a PC DOS version back in the day, and it was pretty faithful and awesome... and equally HARD
@@Locomamonk Hard indeed. Never had enough coins in the pocket to pass it.
There was also an itchy and scratchy snes game that was pretty interesting
Simpsons Hit & Run’s animation looks like that 3D Homer skit in Treehouse of Horror VI. Nice touch
This video has such a "Gaming in the Clinton Years" vibe, I'm not even kidding...
One thing you forgot to mention about Road Rage: It has a multiplayer mode where two players complete to pick up and deliver passengers, and you can steal passengers from the other car by ramming into them and it is *gold*
pretty good animation actually, even those claymation things, amazing you were able to sync the lip/facial movements with the talking.
Excellent episode especially love how you used Simpson's style animation for the episode including yourself
The first game I got for Christmas was Bart vs the space mutants on the ZX spectrum.
It would never load past the fight with Nelson and just get stuck. For a whole year I would replay that first level over and over until the following Christmas.
So yeah, don't come into school next monday.
You kept the animation going through the entire episode. Color me impressed! We can really taste the love and care that goes into crafting Game Sack. Mmmmm crafty love *drools*
that was actually really nice lip sync, must've taken forever lol
also, it's okay to dream about game sack sometimes, i do it pretty oft--
The lips thing was ridiculous 🤣
Nothing beats the Simpsons Aracde game
TMNT the arcade game comes close...its a toss up IMO. I wish I could go back in time to slap myself to buy both of these games. 😂 I am so glad that I purchased the ios version of the Simpsons arcade game back in the day that I can still play on my older iphone and Ipad...this version will have to do.
@@knowledgeseeker4116 I meant out of all The Simpsons games it is the best. I have The Simpsons Arcade game on ps3. Still fun to go back play.
@@ChrisEvans66 Nice! You made a great decision to purchase that arcade game for the ps3......I envy you! 😁👍
@@knowledgeseeker4116 Yeah, I used to have the XMen arcade game for ps3 too but the license ran out when I didn't have it downloaded. Pretty mad about that
Game Sack keeps going the extra mile on these episodes! Such a great idea and execution for a themed game episode. I can imagine it wasn't easy doing the animation but it really paid off in this video! Well done! I hope another Bluray collection is in the works at some point down the road as I'd happily add this to my existing Game Sack disc collection. Bravo Joe! Keep up the awesome work!
These shows have so much effort put into them and it shows. Good job!
This intro is bananas. I absolutely love this
I gotta say I have mad respect for this channel. Y’all are so insanely consistent with the videos, videos are always substantial length, and they all have effort put into them. The humor is cringey as hell but I consider that a bonus personally. Please keep it up!!!
17:15 - Lip sync on point, better than most games today.
From stop motion animation to animation! The creativity you put into your special episodes is seriously impressive!
Thanks for doing this Sack.
Hey Joe, great episode as always!
Ever thought of doing a console revision episode? Watching the Snes vs gen episode made me think of all the revisions both consoles had.
Road Rage has secret cars on certain holidays so set your clock to Christmas and Thanksgiving to get seasonal cars.
28:59 this MJR reference literally made me spit my drink out. Well done sir 👍
Damn. That must have taken some effort! Great stuff.
Yes, the lip sync was quite the task.:)
Agreed. I was thinking the same thing but it was so AMAZING. Thanks for all the effort!
@@GameSack Much appreciated. Thanks!
@@GameSack Good thing MVG helped you out
"Excellent"
I just wanna note that it was really great seeing Dave back for at least one episode recently. But it also made me realize that you really are doing a fantastic job even by yourself, still coming up with creative & awesome ideas to keep the show fresh, like what you did here animating yourself in the Simpsons style. That sort of stuff sets you apart and makes the show great. Keep up the fantastic work man!
Hit & Run was one of my favorite Gamecube games, top 5.
I really appreciate all the time and love you put into your videos.
I loved Simpsons Road Rage. It really is a great game.
What a fantastic episode! The love and care that you put into each video is so appreciated. Thanks for sharing!
That Metal Jesus cameo is a true hidden gem!
Was hoping for a review of bonestorm. "Buy me bonestorm or go to hell!"
Man, I'm only a few seconds in and this is rad, great job, Joe!
just had to mention this about Bart's Nightmare: when you get into a page, you can select the door to enter with left and right on the d-pad, giving you more options on the mini-game instead of letting the game decide when you reach the doors.
The fact that you did all the animation yourself was actually quite impressive. I think it even tops the sega cd fmv style episode in my opinion. I especially appreciated the the yellowing you added the SNES, nice touch.
An amazing episode, Joe! Very impressed by the animation!
Best comedy series in history. The Simpsons isn't bad either.
If I recall, in Bart’s Nightmare, you’re able to hold down the ‘fire’ button to shoot the slingshot at longer distances. I was blessed with the tortuous circumstance of only having this game and the Mario world pack in when first getting the SNES
I lost at the MetalJesusRocks joke. Good job
The turnout this channel has is crazy for the quality of content. These guys are machines, lol
Man, I've never heard of Virtual Bart.
Wild.
Fav Simpsons Games are The Arcade Game, Road Rage, Hit and Run, and The Simpsons Movie Game.
I have Road Rage and Hit and Run for GameCube... but neither work anymore. 😕
Maybe I can get them resurfaced. I would love an actual Simpsons arcade unit! 😍
Great way to start my day! Excellent work. My favorite episode of Game Sack so far. It’s even better if you watch it while eating a sprinkled donut!
"The game is practically a parody of itself" so basically like the show today then. Fallen so far :'(
"Must. Never. Run. AGAIN!"
you guys are officially the goats!!!!!!!! y'all produce the episodes make the episodes write the episodes direct the episodes and now your animate the episodes????? MARVELOUS!!!!!!!
Bart's Nightmare was a game where you actually had to have the instruction manual to know how to play. All the stages were listed along with goals and controls (You can shoot further in Bartman by holding down the button longer, etc)
Love the intro!
I wonder if the Simpsons creator ever created an official map of Springfield
Probably.
Hit and Run is fun, but the world map is horrible. It's basically just a race track where you can only go in two directions, not an open city to explore and drive around.
Holy crap. That must have been a ton of work. Thank you Joe for so much work man, love your channel
