- Moody Blues member Justin Hayward stopped by the red carpet show before the 33rd annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to chat with host Carrie Keagan about the joining the Hall of Fame with his band.
Thank you Justin for your amazing voice, for your incredibly deep music, and for the Moody Blues, which got me through law school!
Good to learn that. Nice going. 👍
Long overdue! Congratulations to the Moody Blues: Justin, Jon, Graham, Ray, & Mike. And, many, many thanks for the wonderful music which I enjoy every single day!
Please continue Justin and Congratulations. Thank you for your beautiful insightful music that has brought a spiritual peace to so many. ❤️
I just LOVE the MOODY BLUES since I was around 12 ..over 50 years. When I listen to their music now, I feel like I did back then..I remember the lyrics ..man, they are the BEST..
I was far more interested in seeing wife Marie, daughter Doremi and grandson Cassius (standing behind her at the beginning) than hearing this woman's daft questions.
Clearly this interviewer is out of her depth in the presence of such greatness.
An honor well deserved. I'm glad Graeme Edge lived to see his life's work honored. Too bad Ray Thomas couldn't hold on a few more months.
I MAY BE 'DELUSIONAL ' FAN, BUT I HAVE 'NOTHING BUT 'LOVE IN MY HEART, & I'M 'VERY HAPPY ' THAT YOU & THE 'MOODIES' ARE IN 'THE HALL, OF 'FAME '- AS ARE 'THE 'MOODIE'S ' FANS, WHOSE 'TIRELESS ' 'EFFORTS '- DEARLY 'BELIEVED ' & 'WANTED ' TO SEE THIS 'COME TRUE'!!!.MUCH LOVE ALWAYS..!👍👍👍❤❤❤😘😍🥰😇🌍🌌🏞🌄🌅🌠🎼🏝🏜💙💙💙🎸🎵🎶
A great day in rock n roll history.❤️
Yes, I agree. He is a true gentleman. I would have loved to see more of his family. It looked like they were hiding behind the interviewer.
I wonder why it took so many decades for Justin to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Most people speculate that the reason The Moody Blues were not nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for so many years was primarily due to the owner of Rolling Stone publication and his association with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame did not like Hayward. Justin was very skeptical because they were critical of The Moody Blues music, primarily Hayward's compositions.
@@SpectorTippy What beef could they possibly have with Justin or the Moody Blues. They are one of the very few major musical groups with untarnished reputation.
Jann Wenner, owner of Rolling Stone Magazine and founder of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was quoted as saying, decades ago, "The Moody Blues will only be inducted into the R&R HOF over my dead body". Wenner had a thing against "progressive rock", the genre into which The Moody Blues were catagorized. Also, Justin Hayward was not inducted into RRHOF, The Moody Blues were.
@@SpectorTippy I can scarcely credit that. But, if true, it is despicable.
@@loragunning5394 What a colossal simpleton. And to think Hunter Thompson had to cope with such a twit.
Clearly, this interviewer had NO IDEA who Justin is, nor who the Moody Blues are...and she knows nothing about their music nor their history. Sad thing to try and act...important...in the presence of greatness, known to Moody fans as...Justin Hayward.
I wonder if this interviewer looks back at this and understands she was out of her league. Justin calmly and patiently answers her questions in the humble well spoken English gentleman he is.
Love them
Wow. That was painful. She could've at least did an internet search before the event to figure out who she would be talking to. Wow.
Genio 🤘🤘✌✌
Justin Hayward is a true giant! This band should have been in aeons ago!
I am very proud, that Justin Hayward, requested to have me cook a Dutch-Indonesian Rice Table, upon their stay at the Regency Inn Hotel in Denver, Colorado, (1977). Look what happened to me now? Google search; Aquablauw.
PERSONALLY....I THINK THE MOODIES DON'T GIVE A DAMM....TRUTH BE TOLD.....👽🙏😇🙏💖
Don’t be so hard on the interviewer. She’s enthusiastic, and her spontaneous questions gave Justin a chance to shine. 😀
Apart from that a quality of mercy is the preferred reply in such circumstances as these.
I'm excassivly happy for Justin, John and Grahm, but what about Mike Pinder? Why didn't she interview him? He was there too. Oh well, congratulations my band. I love you always and forever
I sharing your comment, the Moodies is my prefered group for ever.
Clearly but he was great when I was 7 and I'm 60 now this lady's mom was not even born yet
Long overdue that's why the hall sucks and I know lm not alone
The Hall didn't exist back in the late 60's.
Her ponytail is pulled to tight …!
Her ponytail must also control her brain!
@@douglasjmadden7051 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🌠
What the f*ck has her ponytail got to do with her interviewing Justin Hayward? People worry too much about insignificant things like that.
Horrid interviewer!!!
