- Today I'm building a Giant Daisy, that GLOWS. I'm Laser Cutting the Flower Petals, Adding a Resin Inlay, 3D Printing the Flower Center, and wiring it with LEDs... and you won't believe how this thing looks lit up! In the daylight, and glowing in the dark this has two entirely different looks.
This was also my first big laser cut project on our new Thunder Laser Nova-63, so that makes this an extra special one.
If you want to make your own Laser Cut Giant Daisy the files are available and linked below.
Thanks so much for watching :)

Awesome! I love anything with lights
Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Here from tiktok, an amazing job. It's really beautiful ❤
You got a Thunder! How awesome, we have a 100w 35 and we love it. I feel like we should have gotten the bigger bed because we work with plywood so much. Great videos look forward to new ones 👍☺️
We did! Loving it so far. Plus the bed is HUGE and we can’t wait to max it out.
Turned out great. I agree with everyone - the dimmer effect is really cool.
It really looks great! Wow the dimmer setting is fun.
wow
You guys always make cool stuff. The dimmer low/high fade is trippy. Love it.
That... that looks cool. Great job! I'm not a huge fan of flowers, but the design was so good I might make it something similar. Thanks for the video!
You should try out WLED. There's so much you can do with it
That came out fantastic! Do you consider a smaller build first before you jump to mahogany and lots of resin?
I was confident enough in this process bc I’ve done a lot similar to it that I dove right in with the mahogany and resin. If that wasn’t the case I’d have probably cut it out of plywood or similar first
@@MakersWorkshopLLC Your experience really shows in the excellent results you get. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Do you have link for the lights you used?
When the light was turned on, it went from gorgeous to breath taking.
Unfortunately, when I see someone sanding epoxy resin - one of the most toxic plastics, especially when it's not VERY precisely measured - it makes my part of soul die.
Can I use a 0.40 acrylic sheet for light instead of resin? let me know your suggestion!!
Probably, yes. As long as you found an adhesive that would glue acrylic to wood
@@MakersWorkshopLLC thanks a lot!! 😀
