This song reminds me of The Confrontation from Les Miserables, at least from 0:52 onwards I think. Harry even has the line "I am warning...." which is also similar to Valjean's line "I am warning you Jarvet!" It's so uncanny! XD

Can I just say, Lauren is my favorite singer in all of StarKid. She doesnt exactly have the strongest voice, but it has that quality that I absolutly LOVE in singers. I dont know how to explain it.
StarKidWannaBe she has a light lyric soprano voice so she can’t hold belts like some of the others but she has a gorgeous tone and large range

Ah I love the part that parallels the Confrontation in Les Mis :) just perfect
at the end of the day they're still musical theatre kids through and through :')
It's not just the rhythmic counterpoint. The counterpoint, the lyrics in MANY places, as well as the NOTES being sung, specifically within the counterpoint rhythm.
In short, it's freaking awesome, although, we all already know this, just wanted to add in some extra trivia as to how much of reference it is.
Clark's voice is amazing
If there was any doubt in my mind that StarKid wasnt the greates (the thought would have been REALLY deep down) it was vanquished witht this song. Because whats better than an extremly talented group of people that bring Harry Potter, comic book heroes together, interwined with disney, starwars, and their own little flair. And now, Les Miserables, one of my FAVORITE musicals of all time. AND they look amazing doing it too. XD

It's Clark. Darren couldn't because of a contract for FOX and because of time issues. He does sing it in the performance of the show.

Dalyce Dostal It’s Clark. Darren was basically owned by Glee. He barley was able to do AVPSY. He got on a plane and flew to Florida and only had maybe 24 hours or so to memorize the lines that is why they are all carrying around their scripts
