Wow, never knew you could reset the service lights without a code reader!! 😃Thank you so much guys for your time and efforts filming this, I'm crossing my fingers my old 2006 330d has the same feature? I can't see why not as your binnacle cluster screen looks the same as mine. Cheers Tom, all the best guys. 👍
No problem mate, I’m sure there the same, if you’re having an issue resetting stuff I had it on the wife’s car e92 and the brake were indicators needed changing even though they looked in good order and untouched, glad to help 💪🏼😎👍🏻
Them socks of toms are a deal breaker i had to watch once i had seen them 😂😂😂😂 old 330d is looking smart..cheers lads
😂, there my Christmas 🧦, had snowmen on them 😂😂, you’ve got an eagle eye there didn’t think anyone would notice 😂😎👍🏻
😂😂😂
Really helpful video. Don’t suppose you could do a coolant change vid?
Hi mate thanks, don’t see why not, what h this space 😂😎👍🏻
Dealer just billed me £497.96 for service and mot. Microfilter. Diesel filter etc. I topped off screen wash and Adblue before service and they still invoiced me £7+vat for screen wash. Invoice states used 5 litres oil. I backtracked your videos to find this… how much oil did you use in total Tom? Was over 7 litres? Think I’ll go back like as the oil is not clean at all. I’ll find some other servicing arrangements. Not got the time myself. 👍🏻 Thank video like.
Hi mate, it should be about 7.5ltrs, maybe a little top up once the oils ran through the filter seems a bit steep price wise, £50 for mot, probably about £90-100 for oil and filter etc, if they’ve done cabin filter diesel filter etc probably a bit more, should be £40-£50 hr labour, wouldn’t say it would take longer than 2hrs in a garage, but if you’ve had a full service all filters etc probably about right on price, obviously cheaper if you do it yourself 😎👍🏻
Question please, does the car not have to be level for an oil change? I noticed yours was at an upwards angle.
Great vid by the way, i've subbed!
Ideally it should be level, we dropped it down off the stands to get 90% of it out, if your doing it the engine will thank u for it😎👍🏻
Ps thanks for the sub😎👍
What was the liquid what u use at first? the purple bootle i mean. Tkanks for answer
Hi mate thanks for watching it was winns engine flush, just helps thin the oil and brake down any sludge etc before draining 💪🏼😎
