    Here's a tip for succeeding at UofT... Start your research one week earlier than you initially planned. Two weeks if you want that 90%-100%.

    Almost everyone tells me not to apply to u of t , that’s it’s horrible, you’ll fail a lot of semesters and your 4 year degree would take sometimes 6 years to complete.. yet no matter what I just love u of t and can’t stop loving it❤️🥰

      @@michellesilva7366 I don't know. But it shouldn't take you 6 years to complete smth that you could obviously do in 4 years. UofT's POSt requirements is what ruins most student's life while making a ton of $.

    Good luck in your second year! As a soon-to-be third year pharmtox student, my friends and I all have our GPA dropped for the two consecutive semesters this year... Also one tip: If you can join the SLC of your program, join it! I really had trouble making friends in my first year but after I joined the SLC of our program I made TONS of friends! (And feel better when I know that we were all struggling together... LOL)

    Hello, I am in grade 10, and I want to pursue a career in neuroscience (specifically, I want to be a neurosurgeon) I can't help but notice how you mentioned that you are taking neuroscience. I want to get into uoft. Can you please say how you got accepted? Like your average in grade 11 and 12 and other things you did to get accepted. And also how is the neuroscience program at uoft? How hard/ complicated is it? Thank you for making this video, it was really helpful ☺️

    I hope i can get into ..uoft...i did 6 aps ranging from 4s to 5s..and 3 sat 2s above 700..and sat above 1500...
    Uoft is my dream it is challenging, but i believe this challenge make you a better person in your job

      Are you going for life sci? I had less AP’s than that and my SAT was a 1490, and now I’m a fourth year in Neuro, Cell & Mol Bio, and Physiology at UofT.

      axiommand js I never applied to engineering so I don’t how the application differs, but the application for life science does not consider extracurriculars.

    Hi! I'm an international student and in my country, we don't have any extracurricular activities that the school actually offers so I'm thinking of taking the initiative myself. If someone is an international student and got into UofT or any other medical school, please give some advice because it is a disadvantage not being from the U.S or CA. Also, I'm in ninth grade, and I want to do this with anticipation because of this disadvantage. Thanks for this video btw!!!

    I am asking as I know for some universities such as McMaster, having simply the credits and required GPA is not enough, as there are very little spots in the program, so it is important to have a very competitive GPA in order to be granted admission into the program

      Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I’ve applied to the psych program in the science discipline at u of t. On the website, it mentions limited enrolment and lists the minimum GPA and required courses. Does meeting just those requirements guarantee admission into the program? Did it for you?

      Also since they use bell curves to deflate grades then how are people able to achieve high grades? How does that work?

    btw are vic one programs worth it or is it too much pressure for first year? And if they ARE worth it, my application got accepted for Schawlow which I ranked second in preference while Stowe-gullen was my first preference because I will be studying Life Science. Should I still accept the offer?

    Since UofT push the mark low, won’t that influence students for their graduate program application? Eg the top unis in America, isn’t that unfair for students at UofT because they are getting a significantly low mark? I cannot understand the system and plz help, thank you.

      I would just recommend using your calendar + a todolist app (or at least, this is what I've done after trying out a lot of things).

      Ha, i'm a bit late to respond to this question for you, as i'm sure you've found the answer already...but for anyone else asking, Life Sciences is a general term for core Science based courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, etc) that someone interested in pursuing Med School would take.

    Hi, I am a student admitted to UTM this fall. U have mentioned that we can pay 60-70 dollars for an application to get 5% marks, is this possible at UTM as well? And can u tell me more about this? Thanks

      In order to access part of your grades, you would have to purchase an access code to access the platform where the questions are located, and where you can earn those marks. This is universal and throughout many institutions now unfortunately. If you have more questions, feel free to email me :)

      @@brandonnnyu there is a $65 per course cap on homework tools per university policy. Also they can't force you to buy the eBook with the homework tool, they are required to offer the homework tool only as an option per the same policy. If a prof breaches this policy, complain to your academic advisor (and if that doesn't work to your Dean, and if that doesn't work to VP-Students.)

      if you're not gonna stay in residency, it doesn't really matter. look into the structure and what the college is focused on cuz for first-year u can get priority for their first-year foundation courses, if u choose to take them.

    This is complete baloney. At U of T if you put a lot of effort into a course there is absolutely NO guarantee you will get a good grade--in fact quite the opposite. Effort is by NO means proportional to the grade you end up with there

    @Brandon Yu I had a question. For U of T neuroscience, on their website it states it is limited enrolment and highlights the credits needed to get in as well as the average to be enrolled. However, does having the credits and listed average, guarantee admission, or is there limited spots within the program?

      Cez Laylo yeah bro. Generally, u of t has a 47% acceptance rate which is pretty high. If you’re talking bout life sciences then it’s still easy. The minimum require is 86. Ppl enter u of t with 70s too
