- 3rd times the charge. Finally got the Starlink above the trees with a 25 foot flag pole and the Starlink pipe adapter. Only obstacle is had to cut a hole at the top for the wire to go through since it can’t go into the mount. Could have cut at the bottom to his wire inside but it would get crushed when losing the flagpole in high winds. No obstruction now though and 100 mbps speeds.

lovely video 💖😗
What gen is that?
Bought the same one on Amazon
How does this flagpole do in the wind with the starlink on it?
Haven’t had anything major but we had some 25mph gusts and the pole barley moved. Not much interruption with service. We’ll see during hurricane season how it does.
@@MarshallHudson11 how was Ian? I don't know where you live but wanted to see how it was holding up.
@@crhpjeff it did fine. It lowered itself 1 of the segments but no damage and I was able to raise it right back up. I’m in the western part of Virginia so more rain than wind.
@@MarshallHudson11 That's good to know! Have you figured out a way to prevent it from lowering itself?
@@Constitution1789 A different video suggested using hose clamps to prevent slippage.
How long is the cable? Did you need to buy a new one or buy a repeater?
It’s 100 feet and is the standard cable it came with
I thought a 25-foot pole would require a hole five to six feet deep.
usually the concrete would maake it create leverage but he seemed to be very lenient on that too so who knows how long this will last
It’s been a year and been through some high winds and still going strong. It’s aluminum and super light weight so it really doesn’t need an overly engineered base. We’ll see as the years go on but if it were steel pole I’d agree it would need to be deeper or more cement.
