Can't help but compare Philips ending with that of the diamonds, both Steven and Luz always try to see the good in people and change their minds and both had their stories rushed to an end, but the creators of one didn't decide to forgive the tyrant for mass genocide.
I like how this show explains the difference between making mistakes and making BAD CHOICES. Because a lot of people are very cruel, no matter why you did something. And others are too forgiving to people who never deserved any forgiveness.

Really cool effects with the rain here. It's like the world itself has become judge and deemed Luz as pure and kind while the former human in front of her is melted away, revealing the horridness he hid from the world. He won't hurt anyone anymore... though it might have been safer to have let him melt instead of stepping on him.
Someone could also edit these death with the audio from Toffee's death and it could also fit. *Belos crawls to Luz while melting* "Only I know how this will all turn out" *Eda, Raine, King* "Turns out your dead!"
No flashbacks about what he did to his brother. No reasoning about his past. No final chances for redemption. The creators knew exactly who this man was and the thing he had become. And they knew exactly what you do to these things if you have the chance. Couldn’t have picked a better ending for a truly despicable monster.
Man even after everything that's happened, Belos really tried gaslighting/manipulating all the way to the bitter end. He's an irredeemable piece of trash, but the guy really was on that grindset lol. Glad he finally got put into the ground.
After all that he's been through, he's still convinced that he is some grand hero, saving humanity from Witches and Demons when all he's really doing is hurting innocent individuals at the cost of his own humanity. So determined to be a hero that he even almost let himself be a martyr (notice when he fuses with the Titan's heart, the pose of his arms looks more than just a little bit like a crucifixion, a nice subtle little bit of messiah symbolism). I'm all for restorative justice, which is why I'm cool with The Collector getting off easy, but there is a limit.
While not the end I envisioned or wanted, it was a satisfactory way to see off Belos. Truly he couldn't see past the teachings or his time. Then again I imagine if he ever did, given all the terrible things that he did, it would of broken him anyway.

thanks disney and they have the nerve to flaunt the finale around as if they didn't cancel the show? #FuckDisney
If we had gotten the proper amount of episodes it probably would of given us all the stuff that happened during the S3 opening montage. Darn Shame.
@@Zoditron yeah most of the villains only lasted a few episodes besides belos
Grrrrr Disney!😡
I know the Titan's spirit is in Luz at this point but the way it starts and stops raining on Belos really feels like the Titan taking part in the curb-stomping effort.
Luz is the titan heart at this point (belos doesn't know that at this point) this means that until the titan left luz she still had control over the isles,so this was luz starting and ending the rain.she washed away dirt while Raine eda and king squished the bug that hid underneath
She looks at him like “you ain’t fooling nobody with that”
Belos: We're human, we're better than this.
To quote Edward Elric:
"Go Back to where you came from, go back to NOTHING."
Luz is wearing Amity's necklace and now the shirt she is wearing is that of the beta. The fact that Vee is there means that she has already overcome the fears she sad regarding the Boiling Isles. I thought Vee's friends show up. But don't worry we have Amphibia season comic to keep our minds sane.
I just love how luz is like
*Adios✌️*
Best Disney villain ever. Gonna miss you, Belos
Can't help but compare Philips ending with that of the diamonds, both Steven and Luz always try to see the good in people and change their minds and both had their stories rushed to an end, but the creators of one didn't decide to forgive the tyrant for mass genocide.
Yeah true lol
Steven Universe had a good ending, it was trying to tell a different story then the owl house. No need to pit two great shows against each other.
He really thought he could get one last lie in there to save himself. At least he’s consistent? 😅
He was desperate. Wee see sweat on his face as he tries to think a last lie to save himself.
it'd be kinda funny if luz lied to him only to immediately kill him but this is good too
Obnoxious but consistent
I like how this show explains the difference between making mistakes and making BAD CHOICES. Because a lot of people are very cruel, no matter why you did something. And others are too forgiving to people who never deserved any forgiveness.
“He had it coming, he only had himself to blame, I bet ya, you would have done the same!!” That fits when Eda, Raine, and King were curb stomping the shit out of him!!😂😂
Luz : you're not phillip, you're not a human, you're just... an irredeemable damn
I can NOT be the only person who smiled during this scene.
Everyone did 😁
The way she just STARES. All the sympathy and mercy of an iceberg.
Raine said it best “that was extremely satisfying.” 🎉
Before King, Eda, and Raine stomped on Belos, Luz should have said "My friends are more human than you've ever been." To him.
YES
Or "humans don't use magic, that makes you.. A WITCH too."
I honestly was hoping Luz would say something following “We’re humans! We’re better than this!”
Luz: “I’m human, but you aren’t.”
Philip is a great villain, he feels guilt over Caleb, he has bad thoughts about himself
BUT AT THE SAME TIME, he just can't accept reality, he can't accept that he's actually the cause of everything, he's not EVIL
And that's sad and tragic, because he was just a kid that was brought into a toxic culture, if he had grown up in a different place, maybe everything could have been different
Finally someone, who shares my opinion. 👍
"Looks can be deceiving." The Philip we once knew is long gone. His craving taste for power has corrupted him ever since.
Philip, you can’t lie your way out of this one. You had this day coming for a very long time. You became a monster inside and out
great death for such a great villian!!! he gave off the same vibes as Monstrox and besides Big Jack and Bill Cipher no-one else has given me such chaotic yet sinister energy
r.i.p belos rest in PAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Belos rolled for deception: Nat 1

Raine, Eda and king
Rolled a ten, crit
Roll again. Crit.

All together
25 + 5 for strength check.
They go office space on Belos, he is just gone.
Belos: *giving a speech of how he was curse and now is free *
Luz: Do I look like I care?
I was expecting an epic Titan Witch Luz VS. Goop Belos battle, but tbh this was better!
Philip: “Luz, please we can talk about this.”
Luz: “No Philip. Your silver tongue is rusty. And I think you should take it up with my friends.”
(As Bat Queen, other giant monsters, demons and witches surround him.)
Bat Queen: “What was that you said to us? Pretty soon, no one will believe you even existed!”
The ghosts of Caleb, Evelyn and the golden guards walked to Philip
Philip: (nervous) CALEB!!! EVELYN!! GOLDEN GUARDS!!
The ghosts of Caleb, Evelyn and golden guards' eyes glowed red as they glared at Philip
@@scarletweb2106 (Mind if I add to this?)
Caleb: You murdered me in cold blood, and used my corpse to create these Grimwalkers that you too eventually murdered, either for defying you or for your own sick pleasure!
Golden Guard #1: You ended our lives unjustly!
Golden Guard #2: You treated us like tools, something that you make and would eventually throw away once we're no longer of use to you or if we defied you in some way!
Golden Guard #3: The time has come for you to pay for your transgressions, Belos!
_The other previous Golden Guards also voice their disapproval and condemnation of Belos as he further shrank back, especially with the ghost of Evelyn Clawthorne bearing down on him._
Philip: You can't condemn and renounce me like this! Everything I did was to protect humanity from those devilish witches! I was going to become a hero! A HERO!! ME!!!
Evelyn: You, a hero? I find that laughable, Philip! You murdered my husband, your brother, and for what? Your religiously-fueled hatred of witches and your own selfish, delusional ego!
Caleb: You used to be my brother, but you were ultimately consumed by your own egotistical delusions, turning you into something less than human, a lying parasite. And now, you're falling apart, about to be swept away. You're too far gone to be redeemed. 400 years of schemes and manipulations will become undone.
Philip: N-no! No wait! I-I can explain!!
The palismen and their owners rises from the graves
Philip shrieked in terror
Philip: “No, No! This can’t be happening!”
(Palisman humbing)
Philip: “No, not the Palisman!”
Palismans: “(Singing) Are you ready?”
Philip: “No! I’m not ready at all! My mission isn’t complete!”
Palisman: “(Singing) Are you ready?”
Philip: “This is just a minor setback of a major operation. (Scream) as soon as I woke up to spell, or make another golden guard, or retake control of the titan’s heart. I’ll finally complete my mission! I just need more time!”
(Soon a titan appears, and a shadowy hand grabs Philip’s shadow and drags him)
Philip: “Just a little more time! I promise to finish my mission! I promise! Nnnnoooooooo!!!”
(The titan drags Philip to the afterlife into the bowls of the Underworld with a tombstone of his frighten face on it.)
@@Coyoteprime Caleb: May his actions haunt him forever more in the afterlife.
It was obvious he was lying, I mean he is below, but the moment he stopped speaking is because he was thinking of a fake story, which makes it more pathetic than it already is
It's quite satisfying that as the rain drops burns Belos/Phillip, the rain drops simply sparkles on Luz.
“We’re human! We’re better than this!”
Spoken by someone who became less than human towards someone who became more than human.
I was screaming "yippie" when Eda, King and Raine were stomping on the green slime
Really cool effects with the rain here. It's like the world itself has become judge and deemed Luz as pure and kind while the former human in front of her is melted away, revealing the horridness he hid from the world. He won't hurt anyone anymore... though it might have been safer to have let him melt instead of stepping on him.
Next to seeing Amity and Luz kiss and Luz's titan form this was by far the most satisfying scene of the show. 😁
It was definitely satisfying seeing Belos being perished
love how he's was sturting as he makes it up😂
Luz just looking at him "uhuh, ok, sure"
Looking at Luz's facial expression, she knows that Belos/Philip was lying. She wasn't the same naïve person she was before.
We usually imagine witches being burned at the stake-with fire-and Belos/Philip is a witch Hunter that was being beaten by boiling rain/water
Some people drowned accused witches in the day. If they drowned, they were innocent. If they floated up, they were guilty of using magic to live
Imagine what the Gravesfield witches punished Belos/Phillip
This is one of the best scenes in watching and dreaming Rip boolos
*Angry season 2 Kikimora noises*
That was kinda horrifiying for a Disney show, like holy hell, Belos just being dissolved by The acid rain, its magnificent
Was it any less horrifying than Toffee getting blasted into a puddle of slime by Star?
@@BenHopkins1000 i didnt watch SVTFOE, but i know Toffee’s Death was probably more horrifying
Have you seen the black cauldron?
@@monicadelgado5296 yes i have
Someone could also edit these death with the audio from Toffee's death and it could also fit.
*Belos crawls to Luz while melting* "Only I know how this will all turn out"
*Eda, Raine, King* "Turns out your dead!"
No flashbacks about what he did to his brother. No reasoning about his past. No final chances for redemption. The creators knew exactly who this man was and the thing he had become. And they knew exactly what you do to these things if you have the chance. Couldn’t have picked a better ending for a truly despicable monster.
Not bro trying to lie and said he was cursed and apparently because of his “curse” it made him kill his brother
Man really tried to appeal to Luz’s sympathetic side like he didn’t nearly kill her and her adoptive aunt when he was still Phillip.
This man was literally about to turn this fourteen-year-old child to Stone
I love Luz's titan form design, she looks so awesome and beautiful
I was really surprised by the design,I loved it so much
@@eeveefennecfox Truly an epic moment
Yeah me too
And the only tears that fell, where of joy❤
Man now that is just satisfying to watch I don’t know how long I am going to be here for but I am watching thing vid none stops until I’m satisfied
Eda will always be my spirit character😂😂
CJ (Carl Johnson) in My style:
"See you Around, Emperor".
I kind of wish Hunter was here during this. He was really pushed aside this last episode, but it was still good nonetheless.
0:13 I love how she's just having none of it. Bye Bye, Phil
"we’re human" said the slime skeleton to the magical monster girl.
probably the best scene in the entire show
“We’re human, we’re better than this!”
Yeah, sure, keep telling yourself that in your grave, buddy
Man even after everything that's happened, Belos really tried gaslighting/manipulating all the way to the bitter end. He's an irredeemable piece of trash, but the guy really was on that grindset lol. Glad he finally got put into the ground.
I love how the show ends with the villain getting boiled alive while his head gets stomped in by an eight-year-old.
As much as I love his defeat here it would make more sense for it to be hunter instead of Luz
WE DIDN'T FORGIVE HIM! YES!
You may hate belos as a person, but we can all agree that he was an awesome and brilliant top notch villain.
Cause of death- shoes
The way I see it, Belos, you're neither human nor better than this
While not the end I envisioned or wanted, it was a satisfactory way to see off Belos. Truly he couldn't see past the teachings or his time. Then again I imagine if he ever did, given all the terrible things that he did, it would of broken him anyway.
