No girl!!!!Save your money for better things in life :) Trust me I've been there and totally regret wasting all that money on clothing I ended up donating anyways. The secret is to not excellent excessively buy in the first place. So you don't have to purge. Lol. :) I suggest looking at ChristineKobzeff's video on capsule wardrobe. She makes do with less :))))
+Mercedes RÍOS I don't know why everyone has that perception of me when I already showed a closet tour before! And this is less clothes than my old closet because I kept decluttering. I've learned that everyone has different perceptions on what's considered a lot or a little. To me, this is already downsized from what I had before. I guess I've always been into fashion, I follow fashion bloggers who have 5x this closet and have friends with big closets too so my "normal" is not the same as your "normal" :P Anyway, minimalism is a journey and I do what works for me, I go at my own pace. I hope you guys can do that too. 💖
I folded all day today - finished KonMari-ing all my clothes! My back & shoulders hurt so bad but it was worth it. My sock drawer is a thing of beauty!
Nice collection! I'm happy that someone has more than 20 pieces of clothes. Those videos made feel like not even wanting to start, becuase I have several hundreds:D
It's easier than you think. Most people wear 10% of their clothes 80% of the time. That actually a little over 20. What helped with me was to start at like 100 and then cut it down every week until I am happy and I wear every item within a period of two weeks

I'm using a capsule wardrobe and just love how spaced and free each piece is now. I remember having a closet that was so crammed you could barely pull out a shirt. Great video! xoxo brittany

I've literally just readjusted my clothes that were lying flat on the hanging clothes storage holder 0:04 and have stacked them vertically- big difference. Thank You!

this video was so simple but effective, I loved the way you labelled and described everything! also the smoothe filming effect was very pleasing on the eyes! I can imagine a room tour would be lovely to watch, maybe when you complete your new room?

Lovely clothes. I want to declutter...and do some shedding on and off. You have managed to squeeze in quite a lot in this space. I'm no minimalist and have at least a hundred sarees. Plus blouses for each. Then more western clothes. But I have arranged them in such a way...they are very organized. Thanks for your video.

I'm starting this journey - trying to make my few treasured pieces breathe - I've found when I have the right amount for my small dressing area (I live in 735ft. condo) that instead of everything being dirty and in need of mending, that i actually take CARE of my clothes - THEY ARE LOVED!

this is so satisfying to watch! i'm not sure maria kondo would approve of how much you own but i feel like if clothes is something you're really into, it's okay to have a lot, as long as you actually wear it all. besides, hella impressed with how it all fits in that wardrobe!!

This was so relaxing to watch. Aileen's voice is calming and informative; it sounds so different than other twenty-something year old people that I know. The only thing about the Kon Mari method of organization that would bother me is that the clothing is arranged to flow from heaviest items to lightest items. I can't tell from the book if she is talking about the length of the items or the actual mass of the items. (e.g. a denim jacket weighs more than a long flowy dress; so which one goes on the left?)
+Breanne Martin she's talking about both the length AND mass. I weigh mass over length in most cases... I'd put a denim jacket to the left of the flowy dress. Use your own judgement :)

I wish you'd gone in depth about factors and priorities that affected your closet arrangement. Since you live in LA, I bet you don't have winter clothes in storage. Stuff like that. It looked great though and thumbs up all around. :)

Wow. You have a lot of stuff. I have likely lived nearly twice as long as you and I work a professional 9-5, but I own probably 1/4 of the stuff you showed and sometimes I think what I have is too much! You gave me new eyes to my closet! It has been presumptuous of me to think tidying up means minimalism to everyone. They have always been synonymous to me because if I owned as much stuff as you, somebody else would have to tidy it up! LOL! Of course, living in Los Angeles with nearly year round same weather makes it easy for me in terms of clothes and moderate changes in the seasons. Plus, in all fairness, when we get older or shall I say more mature, we tend to find our style and become quite content with sameness in clothes! Of course, there are exceptions! Plus, I totally lack patience and interest in browsing through racks of clothes, shelves, and drawers for my OOTD!
+Raw LawGirl What I've learned sharing my closet on youtube is everyone has different perceptions regarding what is a "lot" and what is a "little." At the end of the day, I don't think we should compare ourselves to each other. As long as you are making progress in your journey and you're happy with what you have then that's alright! Go at your own pace :) I loved fashion, and I follow fashion bloggers who have closets 5x this size... to them, this would be a downsized closet. My closet used to be more than double, and I feel really light with this closet so yeah!
