Most of the political skits and songs from Inside could be interpreted from an SJW or anti SJW perspective so I'm glad he made something making it explicitly clear where he stands.

@@ISavant But it was deliberately written in a way that made it ambiguous as to if he's endorsing these ideas or mocking them. Just like how, while "Problematic" is clearly making fun of apology videos and isn't a complaint about cancel culture, it's possible for someone to interpret it as making fun of cancel culture
The podcast is definitely a sendup of all these "comedians" saying it's impossible to do comedy now and they're being silenced, while having some of the largest audience and platforms there are. And the mental gymnastics of trying to have it all saying both that "it's just a joke" but then also claiming some higher moral of "comedy is the mirror to the culture" and some shit like that. So, what is it really? Is it just a joke or are we meant to take you seriously? Are you being silenced, or do you have a huge platform and you're being really loud right now?
He does have fake teeth! One Easter when he was a teen an Easter egg hunt went really wrong and they got knocked out! He talks about it in an interview at one point.

I think "Be Yourself" is the most simplified advice ever, its so simple that you can use it in 90% of situation but that also meant 90% of the time it doesnt help the situation at all
whenever i gotta talk in front of a crowd and im in a trainwrcked of a state someone always says it and im supposed to know what to do after being told "be yourself" and when I say "so what do i do??" That other person just said repeat "just be yourself" but my "self" is a bundle of a angst hormone cafeinne and high blood pressure oh it doesnt help so the next best thing is to imitate someone calm and hope the crowd doesnt notice my very red face

The podcast was my favorite part of the outtakes, and it was sniper fire at Joe Rogan. Particularly how he wants it both ways: that they are just silly jokes but also deep artistic statements. And his tendency to simply have people on who agree with him (or he agrees with) resulting in him basically talking to himself. It was posted on the Rogan subreddit and they felt very called out.
I appreciate what you said about streaming audiences. A year ago, a creator I liked started streaming on Twitch, and I tuned in a couple times while I was at work so I couldn't really participate in chat, plus I'm naturally a lurker so I wouldn't have been saying much anyway. I have to really force myself to chat whether I'm at work or not. But when I did say one thing, he asked why I wasn't chatting more and how it's a community and the only point in watching is to be a participant and I'm not helping his channel out at all by not saying anything...it made me really uncomfortable and I never went back to his stream.

honestly the master classes and shit gross me out because its some business making money off the concept that you want their dirty secrets to the industry, they aren't going to have them, and the best case scenario? they, while earning tons of money from this class, then realize they never had the secrets and they never were significant enough to be who they are as a stage character, they just ended up being the person that was there and had the set of skills, and they have an existential crisis while everyone is losing their money to this class to a large corporation, and that's the best case scenario, very very gross

While there are a ton of podcasters that fit that bill, it's pretty clearly specifically Rogan. And also all Rogans friends that have the same douchebro podcast template
Rogan doesnât have a cohost though. Just saying. The thing is that most cishet white podcasters who touch on current events are like this. So while it does fit Rogans behavior, heâs not unique. Theyâre all like that.
