These two men have helped me so much with my dogs! I watch at least one video a week just to keep myself encouraged and going further with my boys, Abbott and Dobson. Thank you Tom and Will! Forever grateful!!!
So happy for you!
Me too!!!!
Was cool to see Will at Tom's seminar in a video. Learning off each other to make life for dogs better. 💪🏽
Me too! Sadly I don’t have the money for professional behaviorist or trainer. Spend hours almost every day learning from pros on CZcams.
I didn't have that kind of money either, did it all on youtube. You can do it!
Two of the greatest resources I use to learn and grow my passion in one podcast. Love yall!
Great to hear!
Both of their insight is certainly valuable. I just have a hard time looking at Will without thinking how the hell is saving a dog in danger where he needs to run to their aid. No shade only facts, but he's overweight and unfit.
My two all time favorites in one place! Fucking epic!
Hope you like it!
My two favorite trainers! I’ve learned so much from these two and it’s really helped with our reactive pit bull mix rescue! He’s human reactive and we made a promise to be his family forever…but not gonna lie, it was a struggle for the first few months. Implementing the techniques these two use has made such a huge difference for us! Max thanks you both for making his life better! 😊
Thanks so much, Shelia!
Hey. I have a rescue staffy x boxer who is massively reactive to other dogs. She bit another dog a week ago ( totally my fault) and I’m devastated about it still. It’s nice to hear that these guys’ methods can help. Xxx
Thank you for taking the time to talk about e-collars and prong collars. I used to be completely against them - then I educated myself and my opinion did a 180. These tools save countless lives. I just wish more people would be willing to be open minded and take just a little time to learn, instead of digging their heels in to argue against them, just because other people do.
Thanks for watching, Ryan!
The misinformation is astronomical abouts these tools. Of course we use other tools first but when those fail, so many people give up and dogs get surrendered or put down. Thank you for being open minded and seeing the value of these tools. I hope more people start to understand that these tools can me l8fe saving and can improve both your lives tremendously.
The proof is in the pudding with these amazing trainers. Thank you for not giving up on your pup and opening your mind and educating yourself on these topics.
Enjoy knowing you guys are friends... I've found Will's videos pretty helpful and we come to UCA for training in person.
OMG! My two favorite dog trainers TOGETHER. I haven't even started watching and my tail is wagging!
This whole conversation between these two guys is amazing
Thanks so much!
I have trained sled dogs , and search and rescue dogs I have a deep rooted understanding of dogs and I still learn from you both all the time I am starting up a behavioral training center and want to base it on the 7 habits of highly effective people to help train I would love to talk with either of you on the best way to go forward I want to help my small mountain community
Sounds amazing, Kenneth. This podcast should check all the boxes for you!
Bandit wishes he was a sled dog. (see photo)
Gonna watch this SO fast! I rescued a 7 y/o Old English Bulldog last year and even though the bond was there, as a first time owner I needed to learn so much about training, handling, and yes, leading this sweet lady. You and Will have been such a great help in changing mindset and behaviours of both me and her. Thank you for getting together!
Thanks for watching!
I love these two trainers and really appreciate their willingness to share who they are and allow us to understand and know them as people who do dog training, not just dog trainers doing videos on CZcams, Thanks to both of you, you are appreciated
That is surreal! Only yesterday I was thinking how you 2 guys are so much alike and how cool it would be to see you do a podcast/call/cooperation of some sort together. That is so amazing and I haven't even started listening 😁 It'll be my Sunday treat tomorrow. Thanks guys, you are both wonderful and you both rock like really super brilliant rocky things!! 🤩😊🥳🎉🍻🐕🐶🐕🦺👍
Hope you like it!!!:)
Human Angels in disguise saving countless dogs Which are also Earth Angels...for Mnkind to learn and grow
YES man absolute two of the best creators in the dog industry. Not even listened yet but thank you for doing these colabs.
Thanks, Connor!
Absolutely made my day to see these two got together, Tom and Will are my two favorite trainers!!! I was able to help rehabilitate my first rescue dog by learning Tom’s methods, and then I was able to give my Corso puppy the best start by following Will’s perfect puppy course. I’ve become so passionate about dogs since following these two trainers, thank you to both of you for what you’re doing for the world. Collectively your methods have been able to teach me to give my dogs a better, happier life. THANK YOU keep doing what you’re doing!💪🏻
I’ll admit I don’t own a dog. However I started watching Tom and Will’s videos during the pandemic and over the past 2 years learning about dog behavior and training in the hopes of adopting a dog one day. Just want to thank you guys!
Thanks for watching, Amanda!
get one already. life is so much better living with a trained dog
Very smart to learn before you get a dog. Too many people don’t do that.
I'm very intuitive, without going into detail it's my job to be good at reading people .
These two from day one screamed 'genuine' to me . They also are so realistic so I've gone with what they say works . They're calm but there's not one part of me thinks they are big egos .
I'm so grateful they share their skill.
Two of my favs !!!!
Hope you like it!
LITERALLY the 2 guys who gave me and my rescue an amazing start!! the amount i have learned from both of you is unparalleled . Thank you to both of you
So good to see I'm not alone in my confidence and self doubt. Really helpful podcast. My balanced training company is nearly a year old and the best move I made. I've trained 55 eleated clients out of 57. Even stopped a couple being euthansised. That alone is gold to me! Thanks lads and keep up your awesome work. Great embassadors for the k9 industry.
This is such a valuable podcast for not only dog trainers but anyone who is a business owner or on social media or just how to be a good person!!!
awe, thank you, Courtney!
Two of my favorite humans!
Holy crap!!! My favorite two dog people on one podcast???!! Legendary!
Been waiting for you two to be on a podcast together again since the first one. Listened to that 3 hour podcast about 4 times.
So helpful and both you guys being so down to earth and "normal people" honestly keeps me inspired that I can achieve success with my business.
Thanks for everything you guys do.
Thank you, Frabnkie!
Thank you Tom & Will for developing your online content, as a regular everyday pet owner of 2 GSD’s, one reactive after an incident, I needed help and I found both of you online. Watching and learning has helped me be a much better dog handler and has allowed my dogs to enjoy a full-filling, enriched life including many off-leash adventures. Now that I am learning & understanding dog behaviour my dogs Rj & Raven are experiencing much happier dog days. 😊
I've waited on this video!two of my favourite dog trainers.thx from Germany✌️
Wohooo!
Both of these guys(among others)have been incredibly inspiring to my journey on becoming a dog trainer over the years!
To anyone just starting, I would strongly recommend checking out both of these trainers.
Love the podcast format Tom 🤜🤛
I have trained dogs since 1969. I presently have 7 dogs in my furry family, all are working breeds. I use a large toolbox that includes my voice, touch, hand gestures facial expressions. body postures. Leashes, all kinds of collars etc. I train, according to the individual dog. One size does not all. you are both spot on. Very enjoyable podcast. I am a subscriber on Tom's and Will's channels. I have nothing less than, absolutely respect the both of you.
The 2 trainers I watch content of the most!! Rad!!!
Hope you like it!
Thankyou both for this! I have newly qualified as a Will Atherton Accredited Trainer and the course was amazing.
Great podcast episode. As one of Will’s students/accredited trainers the day we had was priceless and has provided the foundations of an amazing network in the U.K. between us trainers on the program. Creating community, sharing ideas and helping each other.
I love both of these guys! I watch so many videos from both of them! These two guys are amazing and give me hope that I can get my dogs under control! Thank you both so much for everything you do!
Hope it helps! :)
I wish one of them could help my dog I am not that good with coordination and get my timing wrong my poor dog ..I feel so bad for her...
Yay! Two of the bestest in one room. Much luvz from wales.
Thanks, Ruth!
My two favorite dog trainers! You both have taught me so much! I respect you both and love the work you guys do!
Thank you so much!
How exciting to see my two favourite dog trainers together. You’ve both been so helpful. I have a 4-yr old reactive German Shepard. We were expelled from puppy school and three trainers couldn’t be bothered to help me. He’s a lovely dog and I’m definitely responsible for his behaviour - wish I’d discovered you both sooner! He’s getting better every day. Very interesting podcast - thanks.
LOOOVE this collab!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much! :)
So crazy the only two trainers I typically watch and here they are in the same room. Will is a fantastic trainer and definitely helped me with a dog that was a puller on the leash.
RE: training philosophies....Long ago in one of Tom's videos he talked about dog corrections saying (paraphrasing) "...so if your bratty teenager was kicking visitors would you try to correct that behavior by giving a treat every time the kid DIDN'T kick... Hell no, it would be, get your ass to your room and NO phone, NO TV and NO going out with your friends...You're grounded! "
Awesome podcast 2 great friends who happen to be Dog Leaders talking freely. So much to learn here. Gracias both of you.
Thanks so much!!
Two of the best! As a trainer, I always watch their videos on CZcams and always learn something new.
The way I clicked so fast ❤
Same!
Hope you like it :)
Omg yes!! Love both of you, amazing trainers. These two are amazing!
Thanks for watching!
Didn’t think I would have ever needed an ecollar but when I bought my working English setter pup and she turned out to be deaf it became a necessity. 3 years later she’s just completed her first full hunting season. All thanks to the use of the vibrate and stim the colllars provided
Started following Will several months ago! Then Tom just a few weeks ago. Imagine my delight when I noticed Will in the background of the London Tour. I'm like, "Wait? Is that Will?" Love you guys! This is some great wisdom from 2 guys that are the real deal. It's great to see this kind of chemistry and to benefit from it. Blessings to you both!
Pure gold conversation. Loaded with great insights. Have seen Will Atherton in a whole new light, love him. Will surely be looking for more of his content and studying it, too. Need lots of help to get relationship better with my dog. Know these two men can be an immense resource and guide me in the right direction. Thank you so much.
Thanks for watching!
Tom and Will, I spent 2 years watching your great content and doing the research/training on myself prior to getting my 1st 2 dogs that many times i was told is not for 1st time owners (Corsos) with your content, being as successful as i have been with them I have to say the self doubt on what you are doing should be put aside. You both do great work keep it up!
Thank you, Leo. Appreciate it!
Real. It's so wonderful to know how real you both are.
You, Will, and Zak are some of my favorite dog trainers! Thank you for understanding and sharing the behavioral aspect of dog training. It's incredible the results when you take the time to understand dog behavior instead of simply overpowering your dog. Thank you thank you thank you! 🐾
Unbelievable!! Two of my favorite trainers in the same video!! Mind blown!! Love you both!! You've both made all the difference in how I train my cane corso!! I started watching Will, and found Tom when Will suggested that I look for his videos for e-collar training! Incredibly impactful, and game changing! Keep up the good work!
Please guys, don't let the turkeys get you down. You give the best advice in your videos and have helped me to help my neighbours dog from being sent back to the pound. Consistency, empathy, kindness and commonsense, Seems to be nothing but pluses there. Love your work, cheers, Muffy from Oz (Australia)
Would love to meet you both just know you both have transformed me as a dog trainer
Happy for you, thanks for the love
I'm a bit late to watching this, but you guys have helped me transform the direction of my dog's progression in training growth and assisted to provide the best life for my dog & being a loving leader. Thank you guys and God bless y'all in what you're doing!
This is the first ever podcast I've watched where I have legitimately because crying especially when I'm talking about Imposter syndrome and doubting yourself as I'm a dog trainer to now and I'm beginning to feel a lot of these feelings all the time now and listening to this podcast is that in giving me the motivation to keep going knowing the best of the best and the two dog trainers that I look up to the most go through this honesty warms my heart no not alone thank you for publishing
Warms our heart to hear, Thanks for watching.
I truly appreciate that you both really put yourselves out there! It is so appreciated!!
Amazing podcast!! Didn't realize how much work is involved in your business. You guys are great!! Thank you both for the great work you do!!
Awesome podcast, there’s 2 videos Will uploaded about 3-4 years ago, training videos with Mable (Wills Cane Corso) we’re Will mentions he’s favourite trainers including Stonnie Dennis that’s how I found Toms Channel nice work guys thanks 🙏
OMG…I LOVE WILL! So happy you have him here!!! I’m subbed to both of you. YOU BOTH ROCK!!!!
My two favorite trainers at the same place? 😱🥰
:)
Best day ever, fantastic podcast as always!
Been waiting for another collab of you two :D love both of your content
Hope you like this, Chris!
Thank you for these podcasts. I'm one of those people who have been training dogs for 30 years. I have learned a lot from you and many other trainers. I could never do what you do on the internet, but it is such a valuable tool. Keep up the good work.
And yes, I've had Belgians all those years. It's heart breaking what this trend is doing to this magnificent breed.
Tom, I didn't know you'd been homeless. I went through that. Really glad to see you doing so well now. Beautifully open conversation. Nice to get to know you both better, thank you.
My 2 favorite trainers ❤🐾
Tom and Will, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so very much for this amazing video🙏🏻 Keep up the amazing work. You two are Rockstars.
Two great dog/human trainers keep it rolling
LOVE this! My 2 favourites in the dog training/behaviour world. Great job guys, so glad to see U both at once!
I gravitated to both of you on CZcams when I began educating my family on how to raise our first pup. While you do not “do the basic obedience and puppy training” stuff anymore I’d “argue” that your videos educated us in how important the basics are and in many of your videos if not all with adult reactive dogs you bring the owners back to place, heel, creating engagement with the dog, how important a good stay and come are etc …. The “tricks” of a command are easy to teach however you both have taught me why and how to bring the meaning into what I train my dog to do, and more importantly how to get my dog to look up to me for “loving leadership and direction”! Thank You!
Thank you Tom and Will, I follow you both and the honestly you guys have is so inspiring! I'm newer to the trainer world, going from horses to dogs. But like you both I'm out here too save dogs. Love you guys, thank you for taking the time to share with everyone.
Thank you so much for saying that you don’t have to help every person and every dog, but if you can help one person and one dog… That means everything. I have been on Rover for a while as a dog walker, but one day I received a phone call because of a flyer That I had posted about six months earlier. The lady just wanted a dog walker. I scheduled a meet and greet with her and her dog. It became obvious from the very beginning that this dog needed boundaries. The owner had scheduled an appointment with a “behaviorist “. She asked me if I would be willing to be there when the behaviorist came to evaluate her dog. I agreed. the behaviorist said that her dog was feral and basically went into a mental breakdown. She told my customer that she should surrender the dog to the rescue that she adopted the dog from in the first place. Long story short… When the “behaviorist” left the house, the owner said I will be more than happy to work with YOU BUT THERE’S NO WAY I CAN WORK WITH HER. FAST FORWARD 2 1/2 MONTHS. MY CUSTOMER ISN’T EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERING GETTING RID OF THE DOG ANYMORE. ALTHOUGH I CAN HONESTLY SAY I WISH SHE WOULD RESPECT MY ADVICE, I AM GOING TO CONTINUE TO TRY TO HELP HER BUILD HER RELATIONSHIP WITH HER DOG. THERE’S NO QUESTION, THE DOG HAS A DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIP WITH ME BECAUSE SHE KNOWS I MEAN BUSINESS, BUT SHE ALSO KNOWS I’LL PAY HER WHEN SHE DOES WHAT I ASK. ANYWAY, I REALLY APPRECIATED THE POINT IN THE VIDEO. WHEN YOU SAD I CAN’T HELP EVERY PERSON AND EVERY DOG BUT WHEN I KNOW THERE IS A PERSON AND A DOG THAT I CAN HELP, I WILL. PARAPHRASING, OF COURSE… THANK YOU SO MUCH. I LOVE YOU BOTH. I AM SUBSCRIBED TO BOTH OF YOUR CHANNELS, AND I WATCH BOTH RELIGIOUSLY. AS FAR AS MY COMMENT IS CONCERNED, I’M SORRY IF THERE ARE ALL CAPS. I DIDN’T INTEND FOR THAT TO HAPPEN. FOR SOME REASON SOMETIMES THAT HAPPENS BUT I’M USING VOICE TO TEXT. ANYWAY, I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. IT’S BEEN BEAUTIFUL.
Don’t care what anyone says, the only reason my 2.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback is the dog he is is because I found these two gentlemen and another Canadian guy. Jax was well on his way to being out of control and it has been an insane amount of work but he’s come so far. No we aren’t perfect and we could be better, but at least he is under control. You have given me the strength to change the things I can, the courage to accept the things I cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference. Or something like that lol.
I came across this video this morning and wanted to let you both know that you have both helped me with my minpin. He’s two. Jude attended boards and train at STK9 in St. Pete FL. This is after doing group training at the St. Petersburg Dog training club for basic training. I love Will’s soft but firm confidence and Tom’s patience knows no bounds. I just watched the video of the lady and the fluffy little dog. I just wanted to holler shut up! This is something I had to learn because of blah, blah, blah syndrome. Jude could not hear what I wanted him to do because it was covered up with noise. This is my second minpin. Levi passed at 14 1/2. We trained well. I knew I would have to. So when I decided on a new minpin I thought I’ve done this before, I can do this again. While forgetting that I was15 years older. Not as agile or enduring. So thanks to you and other trainers of all types. Jude loves to watch training videos. I always learn something.
YES!! You guys together again. Love this. Thank you both. Your content has helped me to start working with my rescue staffy x boxer xx
These two guys are the two biggest sources of learning for me to work better with my dog. I just wish we weren't thousands of miles from them so I could get some in-person training. Gonna have to try and catch the next NBD Tour. :)
Love watching you both best trainers ever ❤
I love this because I started my training of Nola with Will and an online 30 day boot camp. I’m still continuing that but also added your training and techniques to her training. You’re both great and so helpful to anyone that has a dog with aggression issues. Nola I adopted from a rescue group at 5mo old and came with a boat load of issues (trauma, never being on leash, leash aggression and food allergies (lots of vet visits in fist 2 weeks)). She and I have come such a long way in the last 1.5mo of training with Will and your videos. Spent $$$ with in-person trainer and other “positive only” and heavy food rewards. Now I have the obedient basics, crate training, verbal & treat training as well as proper equipment and when/how to use properly.
I found Tom’s channel through Will’s video, where he recommended several people/channels to learn from their experience.
and that's why we are friends.
Self doubt, part of the learning curve. Watch the success you are having with the dogs, sometimes owners seeing this will believe you. Been doing training for 12 years and will never tire of learning. I used to be disappointed on a daily basis if I hadn’t learnt something that day on dog training. Love these two lads.
I found Will's you tube content initially, and was quickly recommended to watch Tom's content. You both are changing how people interact with their dogs. Thank you both for giving me the tools to build a better relationship with my dog. ❤
My two favorite guys! Yeah! Thanks for this. Use both of your video's to help my own clients, I do the same work, you two are definitely very inspiring.
Wow! So great to listen to the two of you. Are you doing a seminar together in the US? You have both helped me so much to understand how to work with my new puppy. Such useful and just SOLID information from you both. Thank you!
Thanks, Kelli!
Just adopted a pup about a month & a half ago & I feel so lucky to have come across you two as central resources in learning to be the best I can for her. No problems with her behavior at all, but getting ahead of it with as much as I can until I can purchase a more thorough course. What you do changes lives (for both people & dogs!), thank you!
Thank you Will and Tom! Great Podcast!
I always watch BOTH of you whenever you post anything! Love you BOTH! This is awesome!
Thank you, Angie!~]
I just want to thank both of you for all the content you put in you tube. In response to those who do not like your prices much great information can be gleaned on you tube. If you used these basics you see here you are leaps and bounds down the road to a good dog. Loving leadership equals no bad dogs😊. Thanks again
Two of my favorite dog trainers. I’ve learn so much from both of you. THANKS for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏽🫶
I watch both canales their hearts for dogs and there people really come through. Luv them and their work 🐾
Thank you both for doing what you do!
I've been binge-watchinging both of your channels since we found out we're getting a dog. That was more than a year ago.
I came for "how do I" and stayed because I loved seeing what you both do for dogs in trouble. They would do the same for us.
You both have expanded my knowledge and views on dogs and deepened my love for them by sharing your passion. Thank you!
My go to is both Will & Tom, learnt so much. I think it’s because of how they make you feel, that you too can achieve great results with your dog. Explained simply & consistently that’s not confusing. Really like these discussions you have, thanks and keep up the great work. 👍🏻
Love you Both. 🤗 Found Will years ago on some kind of Husky Channel on CZcams and been watching his videos ever since.
You both are the first 2 dog trainers I came across online and you have helped me already so much with teaching my first new puppy everything he knows. Appreciate you both and thanks for all the free content you guys put out
Really AWESOME podcast guys. I totally admire what you're doing. Both of you help so many trainers and pet owners.
I was so excited to see Will on the pod cast! Two of my favorite behaviorists in one place!!
Learned a lot in this video! We don't have much space in our house so we go outside to "step 3" and I think it's really been a struggle from the get go. Makes sense! We gotta get creative to make some more room in the home.
Thank you for your work. THANK YOU from a non-hearing viewer for allowing auto-captions. As a trainer, probably work with deaf, you know speech reading's not more than 40% with context & perfect face body view.
Thanks all around.
I've had a few dogs and it hasn't worked out , i got my current dog when I was 22 and put my foot down to do it right and watched every clip possible of Tom's! Dude you saved me n my mental state of mind more than you know ! So thank you for all of your much appreciated very hard work ! Keep bossing it champ ! 🏆
Will was the first trainer I found to help with my GWP rescue and found Tom's shortly after. Two of the best in their field!
Thank you!
Yes me also , Will then signposted to Tom. Both absolutely brilliant
Awesome podcast! I have so much inspiration for the both of you! Thanks for sharing your passion and being real about your work and lifestyle!
Self-doubt encourages learning, Self-doubt keeps you on an even keel, Self-doubt reminds you that you are human, Self-doubt encourages curiosity and stops you from getting too big for your boots. People who know and experience Self-doubt will always be open to other peoples problems. Some people become arrogant as they become successful-
You two care, care for dogs, you both have a special talent and understanding. You have something very rare - you have Empathy. Hopefully neither of you will ever loose it....
WILL!! 💖💖 AND TOM!!! 💖💖 Best super awesome treat!! 🤯🔥🎇 ❤️
You guys have helped me SO MUCH thank you thank you thank you!!! 💝💝
Hope you like it!
Two of the best trainers 🐕 love everything you guys do! Keep up the good work 🐾
Great to see my two fav trainers get together!
My two favorite dog trainers 🤩
Thanks for watching!
