The last two years have been horrific for us in Melbourne. Mental health issues skyrocketing. Gained 20kg because the gyms have been closed. With summer around the corner we get a brief breather before the inevitable winter lockdown.

I never haven’t yet called Melbourne my home but I’ve spent a great deal of time there for work. Living up in Singapore now and not having been home for nearly two year, I adore videos like this. Thanks Maven. Love your work. Here’s to riding the streets of Melbourne in 2022.
Wow this hit me in a special kind of way. I just moved away from Melbourne after living there for a few years, first in Hawthorn, then St Kilda. I just saw the best parts of my commute flash before my eyes.
Plus a bit of beach road, which I’m convinced is one of the top cycling roads in Aus

Nice video. It is cool to see all the locations having ridden practically all of them myself. Whilst the Dandenongs are my favourite place to ride, I do thoroughly enjoy a ride on the bike paths and around the city.

I miss my riding. COVID and Melbourne's countless lockdowns and travel radius' (?) f#cked it all up for me.
I used to ride 300+ KMs a week from the outer NN/W suburbs to Southbank with the occasional morning group ride as part of the morning commute... now the enthusiasm has gone...
Get used with the new normal...
I don't envy all of you who live in Australia. I know 90%of you are vaxed which for me is very sad.
I write from Bulgaria and years ago AUS , CAN , NZ and US would have been a dream come true for us to go and live there. Not the case anymore.
Free thinking people don't want to live in prison States and the above countries became such places.
All I can say is hope we the people gain our God given rights back soon
or it will be our own fault for turning into sheeple .

It's sad you felt like that. I found the quiet roads a pleasure to ride even if it was only locally. Now things are back to normal I am happy that the bike paths are back to normal too and quiet again.
