- In this woodturning video, I will be utilising the Ortur Laser Master 3 to create a woodturning project by cutting some MDF Halloween figures and inlay them into the vase using some epoxy resin. This laser has the capability to cut or engrave various materials such as wood, leather, acrylic and engrave on glass, metal, steel and so on.

Every video is better & better David! So happy for you!
Lovely vase and what a brilliant laser - you could set all kinds of laser cuts items in that resin area, would make great personal gifts to sell. Amazing new workshop - just imagine all the new tools and machinery you could fit in huge space!! 😍👍👀
Nice Vase / Bowl, that really look like Halloween! 👻💀🧛♂🕷
That’s a nice vase. And the use of your new equipment is imaginative and unique. Thank you for sharing 🌞
Thank you! 😊
Awesome! Don’t forget to put some Halloween candy in it!🎃
That laser cutter is awesome. It's so versatile. Congratulations on your new workshop! How exciting to have a whole new space to work in, David!
Thank you 🙂 Can’t wait to get the shop fully up and running it will be awesome 😎
That was so COOL!! New toys! 🤗 Loved the magic screwdriver too, haha 😆 Great, fun project for Halloween 🎃

I may have watched too much Harry Potter when I was young :)
That bowl you put your logo is lovely.
Thank you! Cheers! Olive wood is fantastic for sure

Thank you!
Nice job David and I love the new workshop space it looks amazing can’t wait to see you set up in there exciting times 👍🏻
Such a great and creative use of a new tool. I am very happy to hear the warning about safety with the laser as the open frame laser cutters like that one are known for many health and safety related issues. Thank you for the wonderful video and YAY new workshop.
Thank you so much John :)
very creative and clever .. I too just got a LM3 and cannot wait to put it to use! Great video!
Fantastic machine and super easy to use. I have a CNC and compare to operating that machine LM3 is super easy.
Congratulations on the new shop! Kind of jealous I must admit. Lol
Thank you so much 🙂
Wow awesome 👌
Many many thanks
That is awesomely spooky
Thank you so much 🙂
Hi David I like your laser I liked what you did turning different types of material. The vase/bowl is magnificent and unique it looks very spooky 👻. It's a very good Halloween item. You are very creative and do come up with really excellent ideas. David your new workshop is very nice I wish you all the best in your new work shop. Thank you for a great video again can't wait for your next video. Amanda x
Thank you Amanda :) Shop coming along nicely will post some updates soon :)
laser kapitalne narzędzie do pracy nie tylko z drewnem, pozdrawiam
Thank you so much 🙂
Very nice! I like to see a person prosper..
Thanks!
@@DavidsWoodturning Your'e welcome!
The ideas are endless with your laser.
I was surprised how easy to operate, certainly have many ideas to utilise this machine
Nice
Thanks Tim!
Great looking halloween goblet David. I think that it would have been even better if you had hollowed it inside to expose the resin from the inside as well. You could have then finished the inside with some more resin.
The perfect Halloween bowl! I love the wood grain, and the cut shapes are so fun! I think I like the inside finish better than the outside. Of course, I'm a bit bougie, so maybe that's the reason lol
Thanks so much!
This new machine is super cool. That should definitely make it a lot easier for you to do some of your projects. This piece turned out really fun. I was hoping that your little trick with the lacquer was going to work, but I noticed that when you stopped it from turning to put a finish on the inside. That it already showed a crack on the top rim of it or did it just look like it? 😊
So happy for the extra video this week! Great project. Looking forward to seeing the new workshop taking shape.
Thank you so much 🙂
Hopefully in two weeks time the new shop is up and running. But still a lot of work afterwards to make it look like a real workshop :)
Aww New Zealand always gets left off world maps 😂😂
That's not very nice. Bummer.
Soooo cool :D 👻👻👻
Thank you so much 🙂
Very cool! It'll be interesting to see how you might use the laser in the future. I'm wondering how a thin flexible veneer glued onto a piece might work...
Thank you 🙂
Yeah the possibilities are pretty endless.
Nice work 👏! Where do you get the trademark coins you glue in the bottom? I've been thinking about getting a laser so thank you for showing how they work. Take care and GOD BLESS 🙏!
Thank you 🙂

@@DavidsWoodturning thank you I'll check it out. I've got a brander but I like the looks of the coin better
I just love the projects you do combining wood and acrylic. They always look so amazing. I really hope I can treat myself to one of them one day.
Thank you so much 🙂
congrats on the new workshop mate you will be unstoppable now!
Thank you so much 🙂
That's the plan.. exciting time ahead
Clickbait then, eh? I was hoping to see you turn wood with a laser... This is no different than epoxying some dollar store toys into your turn.
we do not have dollar store in the UK sorry. Thanks for watching!
You could throw a barbie head in there for all I care. , it's the same outcome. A skilfully done vase. But don't call it laser woodturning
@@cyris_W wow Chris I am happy you are releasing all your pressure. No offense taken I have thick skin so happy if weight comes off your shoulder. I am also a content creator and my aim also to get people to click on the video as you did. If you feel that is unfair I am afraid the internt is not always a fairy tail. And if you do not know what I laser printed them then you fast forwarded too much and missed the whole point. Thanks for watching!
@@cyris_W I really feel for you, I do. Wish you the very best and hope you turn a little more positive. The world is cruel as it is don’t make it worse
