    Well it's inspiring to see a Maserati owner exceed 20k in such a short space of time! My family's Mercedes has clocked up just over 22k in the space of nearly 10 years - and even that is used everyday!

    You work for a dealership so your option is biased whether intentional or not. The only impressive things about my Ghibli were the engine sounds or I should say the muffler sounds and the Maserati name.
    I commend you for making some good Ghibli videos over the years.

      Rons Rides have you ever had a warranty issue? I read in a forum that a dealership didn’t honor the warranty repairs. And they have strict guidelines to maintain your warranty. Such as, all oil changes must be at a dealership. Is this true?

    Such a beautiful car, Ron! I saw one on my way home today too - and I'm trying to focus on my own beauty, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti (Veloce as we call it in Europe) coming in a month's time or so! But I can easily see myself stepping up from that one to a Maserati Ghibli with 424 HP next time I buy a car! What do you think, would I miss anything coming from the Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti? Thank you for great content! :)

    • @RonsRides
      @RonsRides  Před 6 lety +1

      Thanks for the compliments Neo! And man thats tough! They are two different types of cars. You'd miss the steering response. I think the Giulia does a much better job at that. Also the Giulia rides really smooth. The Ghibli driving experience with the sound coming out of that exhaust is a lot more raw. You'll feel it in your drives. Other than that, the rest of perspective as far as looks go.

    I am looking at purchasing a Ghibli, what kind of attention does it draw? I know Ferrari's and Lamborghini's sometimes provoke the wrong attention; is this the same with the Maserati Ghibli?

    • @nicholaslee633
      @nicholaslee633 Před 6 lety +4

      Supercar Insider lol why care? And it certainly won’t be as outstanding as a Lambo or Ferrari. The only attention you get is some random ass commenting that it looks like a Kia. But there’s some truth to that

    • @RonsRides
      @RonsRides  Před 6 lety +6

      A lot of attention you'll get is either car guys wanting to race you. Or women and children/teens gawking over the car. Doesnt appeal to much to older gentlemen I feel. But no one will think you're stuck up or anything as most see Ferrari owners.

  • @nathantherealtorsonoma

    Ah yes the Chrysler 300 with body kit. Modern Maserati's are owed by the same people who think the Olive garden is authentic Italian. Not a bad car but just not an authentic Italian one. It not hand made in a Giovanni's work shop. In stead they just grab off the shelf parts, chrysler v6, ZF transmission, and 300/Mercedes E class chassis.

    Hey nice video there. Just wanted to ask, how do feel about the infotainment system after two years of using it? Also what about the steering in general both in summer conditions but also in winter.

    • @RonsRides
      @RonsRides  Před 6 lety +1

      The infotainment is okay but the MTC that is in the 2017-18 models is a much better looking/performing system. Wish I could retrofit it to mine. Steering is fine for me. Could be a bit more responsive after driving the Alfa Romeo Giulia. You can tell the difference between the two thats for sure.

  • @AfricaAuddyTechCars
    @AfricaAuddyTechCars Před 6 lety

    Maserati needs to do the decade old Autoweek article in which both Audi and Maserati were to have vehicles. Such as a D3 Audi A8 rear wheel drive S-Class rivaling coupe. The SUV concept at the time would've been D3 Audi A8 based. W planned world-wide Maserati/Audi or Audi/Maserati showrooms. Porsche blocked the eventual deal. So the lame sounding RS5, RS4 Avant, S6, S6 Avant, S7 Sportback engine would've been a sonorous Ferrari derived power plant as in use now w Maserati. Had to get that off my mind.
