  • Covers clutch replacement on a 1999 Suzuki Marauder 800 - VZ800. Applicable to all years (1997-2004) of US models of the Marauder. This is part 4, covering reinstallation of the clutch cover, including installation of gaskets. Proper torquing of the cover bolts and refilling with oil are also covered.

    Shouldn't you have tightened and torqued cover bolts in a criss cross pattern?

      Markie K Probably would be a better idea to prevent any possible warping, but the torque on those bolts is so low that it it really doesn’t matter much.

    Does the transmission and clutch run on the same oil as the motor ?

      The transmission and engine are all in one case, like most Japanese bikes. It's all the same oil.

    I did everything and not the clutch handle doesn’t retract. I have no idea why
