Columbia Trail - Bartley to Califon
Mountain biking on northwest NJ's beautiful Columbia Trail. I only rode the eastern 10 miles, between the eastern trailhead at Bartley and the only remaining station on the former rail line at Califon. My goal was to simply share the ride and the beauty of this gem.
Definitely not serious technical mountain biking here, just a fun ride through the countryside. Bike is a Diamondback Axis 27.5, camera is a GoPro Hero+. This is a near-real time video, documenting the entire trip from start to finish. This was also my first trip back after taking almost 2 years off from riding, so my pace is not anywhere near my best. Usually I'd be able to knock off the entire 15 miles of this trail in slightly more than the time it took to do 10.
