- Here is my 2020 modification video for my MT07. I get a lot of questions regarding the mods I have so thought I would make a quick video about them for you guys!

I've seen some crazy ones this isn't close lol german guys like this bike for stunts and they put in so much stuff. Crash bars slider plastics stickers rims etc

One thing I’ll add for anyone interested: the Givi windscreen along with a phone mount can make your key hard to reach. I did a Digital Guard Dawg keyless ignition on my FZ. It turned the area behind my windscreen into storage for sunglasses, water snacks, etc.

As soon as the video started, I noticed that airbox... Looks sick and I can only imagine the difference it makes, I wish I could do that to mine. I had an 08 R6 that I sold to buy an MT07 last month. I don't regret it but the bike sure could use more horsepower. Yours looks sick.
yes they are open. You will have to either tap then so you have a thread or you can get the bar ends that expand to fit mirrors

Your bike looks great. Tasteful mods. Ouch 150/mirror. I wonder if there is a carbon fiber front fender that is a bit more minimal since the stock one seems to have too many unnecessary angles. Ride safe!

I bought my 2022 MT07 & wanted to mod my rear blinkers like you did but Yamaha changed the frame so i couldn't do it.....But i did change the front to TST angle eyes Halo....You have a fine Bike.....
Can you please show me which screws are removed to put the belly pan ? I unscrewed one and oil leaked out of it.

Hey, I looked for the exact windshield model and asked the seller to be sure If that one will fit a 2018 Yamaha Mt-07 he said no that I needed a A2140 model for it which looks completely different.. did you had to do any adjustments? or do you say just buy it, it will fit

Q: Did you flash the ECU for a tune? I do like the fact that you specify the brands of the mods you purchased and have mounted on the bike, very helpful. While a few of the mods I would do without for myself, I think they all work well for you.
Where I live I think the license plate would be an issue. But I am sure there are other solutions. :-)
Yes I have the power commander on my bike with the map from hordpower. This means the bike is tuned for the exhaust and airbox I have on the bike.
Yes the license plate will be a issue in most places. Luckily no problems yet where I live

@GregAndr the exhaust, mirrors, license plate holder(your plate needs an angle of 30 degrees here in Germany Not more or less and well maybe the brake lever and clutch lever, windscreen. Because every thing you change on your bike needs a E number or a KBA number (Kraftfahrbundesamt, didn’t find a good translation for that)
@GregAndr yeah it is. Well you can modify your bike, but you always have to make sure that is has the "E-Number" so you cant just go on ebay and buy everything that you like xd, there are some parts that don't need one(dont ask me why) for example like in the video the rear seat cover(Hope thats the right word)
Well with the levers its a bit complicated, yes you are right they can't know each bike and its levers, but its a thing that the police checks every time, because its a common thing that is modified/changed like the exhaust. Usually the original levers are those aluminium/silver levers.
Yeah there are euro 4 exhaust, but it is illegal in germany if you modify/put out the db killer/eater/baffle or also the catalytic converter. And honestly the akra in the video without cat and db killer sounds sooooo goood :D but it is illegal here and this is the really first thing the police checks, then everything else comes. The last few years more and more people are annoyed of the bikes and the noise they make, and this causes that like in austria you can only drive on certain country roads with bikes that don't have more than 95 DB's written down in the vehicle papers. Here are living so much people that are just annoyed by anything!! you can't image....and it gets worse! thats why i also sold my fz/mt 07 this year...it is just so annoying
I dont really know why a windscreen would be illegal, but it needs a e number. maybe it has something to do with when somehting hits the windscreen and i dont know, how it shatters etc. I put a PUIG windscreen on my fz/mt 07 and it got a e number so everything's fine. But its just insane here yeah xd but i think for me it isnt suuch a tragedy because i'm used to it xd

Custom made. Pretty much you just relocate the signals into the bodywork there! I might make a video on how to do it in the future

Unfortunately those are a DIY mod so there isn't a link for them. Pretty much you wire up some led strips in that location and you're good to go!

How do you know the front turn signals are easy to install if they came pre-installed when you bought it...?
Yeah they’re pretty easy to install. Remove the OEM ones and then just connect the new wires and you’re good to go

It’s called the hordpower airbox !

I had a power commander on my bike prior to the hordpower airbox. Because I have the power commander already when you buy the airbox they will give you the PCV file for the airbox and exhaust free.
If you don’t have a power commander they can flash the bike for you for an additional cost

Any car vinyl place will be able to wrap it for you. You can also buy the wrap on Amazon too

I see on yours the plastic covers on each side of the air filter are gone which looks really nice. Was that as easy as just taking them off? im looking at buying a 2015 FZ07 and just curious because I really like the way it looks.
No i have an aftermarket airbox on it. The stock airbox is actually the full piece and not just covers so you cant remove it. To get this look, youll need to replace the entire airbox

Just random signal lights routed to that location!

@@mattlyle4460 I used aftermarket lights but you can use the stock ones. Take off the seat and the rear seat and you’ll see where the spot is. Kinda a diy mod but not too bad once you get into it!

Night and day difference in acceleration. Going to be making a comparison video once the snow melts with a bike that doesn’t have the airbox

ive got a question about the airbox, surely it needs to be enclosed since rain can get onto it or does it work differently from a car?
I don't ride in the rain so don't really have any problems with it.
So does the normale mt07 sound different tan the 35kw variant with the akaprovic add on?

Just the standard 7/8 Carmichael bend. No mounts needed

Hey man. I looked all through the comments and nothing about those black painted pieces near the rear sets. What was the process for doing that? I’m dying to do it on my bike.
I got them powdercoated! You can remove them and paint them too but powder coating is more durable
