Of course I am watching it all. I am seeing if I can pick up tips and tricks.
What I am working on a Haunted Mansion-esque theme this year and I need to make wall panels. No I'm not a pro-haunt, I'm a little haunt and I tried to save money on making the panels. 1x3 furring strips, but I used Masonite for the panels. I cut them so they're 4' x 7' high and these panels are lightweight and I can lift them... I'm not in great shape. The thing I don't like about them is that they are pretty flimsy material to span the space even with the paneling grid. The staples pull through the material and the glue doesn't hold down. I've gotten them into decent shape after a game of "whack-a-mole" but something tells me I should have gone with flooring underlayment, it would have jacked the price up $75 more dollars, so material costs for just the panels would be around 400 bucks... Sigh... but then I might not be fighting it now. double Sigh.
