      What she doesn’t explain is there are clinically proven soothing essential oils that are used for their anti-inflammatory properties not their scent, bergamot used in skincare is furocoumarin free it’s a legal requirement it is not photo toxic unlike regular bergamot essential oil, I ‘m also a trained skincare formulator

Please do reviews on the following South African products: Optiphi, Formulage and Dermafix ( I think this one has a bit of fragrance in some of their products but need to hear you confirm that) but the other two are amazing, but I want to hear your take on these for people of color

    I started watching your videos not long ago...life changing!. I'm latin and have been suffering from hormonal acne since beginning of 2019 (since I moved away from the pill). I thought bad skin would haunt me for the rest of my life. It took me a couple of your videos to learn key things about my skin and actives that work wonders for it. I significantly optimized my skincare after following your channel: less products + great ingredients without breaking my bank account. 2 months later (and a terrible period in between), I only got 3 very tiny zits and no new PIH has shown up (old one is improving really fast)! my skin is glowing and it's the best it has looked in a while. Thank you so much for educating me with factual information on how to take care of my skin. I can walk again happily in the street without a drop of make-up and feel great about myself.

    • @carlavallarino455
      @carlavallarino455 Před 4 lety +2

      @@viv4453 PM (in this order): cleanser Effaclar (La Roche-Posay - for my acne prone skin), salicylic acid (paula's choice), granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane (the ordinary) + moisturizer (Cerave) > the most expensive item is the one from Paula's choice (34€) and the rest is ~10€ or less. | AM (in this order): I'm not using a cleanser in the morning since I wash my face thoroughly in the evening and change my sheets regularly (just a rinse with water not to dry my skin), salicylic acid (paula's choice), niacinamide (the ordinary) + Effaclar MAT Mattifying Moisturizer (La Roche-Posay) --> the combo salicylic acid, retinoid & niacinamide have saved my skin in a matter of weeks.

    Maybe it's bad in the long term, but it makes my make up look amazing. Suddenly I do not have creases anymore, no make up sitting in rimples. So surely do not wear it everyday, but more as a make up primer. And basically use her products as pre-make up skincare. Make up free days I stick to Cerave.

    8% Ascorbic Acid+2% arbutin is what I purchase a week ago after you suggest it. You mention two other ones but which is best to see results to remove dark area/hyperpigmentation on a dark skin? because you also mention in Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution and Azelaic acid Suspension. Should i stick with what I have or exchange it since you mention these others ones?

    I don’t know why but Charlotte Tilbury magic cream is amazing to use under makeup, the makeup just sits amamzingly well. Also if a client has really dry skin this immediately hydrates and sinks in the skin. I hate how expensive it is and that it has fragrance but it works. I can’t skip it for my clients

    Hi Dr. V, Brilliant content as usual! Could you please review the Indian brand St. Botanica please? I was wondering what would a skincare routine for someone in their 60s be like? I would love for my Ma to have one. Thanks!
