Wow. What an absolutely gorgeous car! It’s crazy that after all the care that went into building it at the plant, the final delivery comes down to a dude wearing gym shorts and a tee shirt and seemingly experimenting with different wood blocks to make sure he didn’t screw up the nose. Seems off a bit 🤪
Hope the stipulations of the purchase contract cover this issue .

I'm sure there are better ways to unload cars like this. Watching this was painful.
I would of thought that the trailer would come with extensions on the ramps so that bricks were not needed. That was scary. The rear also looked dangerously on the edge of the ramp. When the wife's R8 was delivered, the delivery people drove the car to the edge of the ramps and then they lowered the entire ramp (the whole ramp lowered to the the ground). That way there was no guessing at what angle the front of the car might scrape (yes..different type of transporter, but with the SVJ 2x (+) price of the audi you would assume they would utilize the best transportation method possible).

Hell of an attractive looking Lambo - the McLaren not so much.
Transporting these hyper cars is always a challenge. The off-ramp to road clearance is one big issue, but look how little clearance they had between the walls. Not an easy way to make money - one screwup and your probably looking for a new profession. I was at a high end auction a few years ago and the (auction) firm had parked an Enzo (or something comparable) on a raised plinth to highlight the product. When it came time to move the car into the bid arena, the handlers brought out the ramps to drive the car off. Of course one of the ramps slipped and for a seemingly LONG period, the car had one wheel hanging in space while the crew scrambled to support same. They resolved the issue and no harm no foul, but always a tricky business handling this high end stuff.
