CO2 monitors unlike Smoke Alarms, are supposed to be put close to the Floor since CO2 is HEAVY & falls down. Hope you get it figured out!!

Carbon Monoxide is heavier than air. The alarm should be mounted in a low spot. As high as you mounted it, and you're heater Screws up, you'd be dead before the alarm sounded.
Love the backboard of your bed, Grey is so pretty like TV placement also
It would be nice if there was a shower at work. Building a wind break structure, setting up a propane shower, and water totes - is going to be a job. Plus improving the road before the heavy rains has to come first. I'll bet you have already priced the culverts.
large dormers would really be nice in the loft. For a man, you do a great job decorating with what you have. Best to you and hope you enjoy your new job!

Just paint around the bed. When the time comes to finish the floor you can move the bed. get some good rest in that bed and relax for Monday morning.
All I can say is enjoy the freedom you have now to do as you want and when you want. There may come a time when what you are doing will not be allowed. Live Free man!

Everything's looking great. Maybe some time in near future you might want to install a inside bathroom, so you won't have to keep going to the outhouse or looking for a place to wash up.

Concrete floors tend to sweat in summer and a lot of rain crates humidity. Get DRYLOC to treat the floor well before putting anything else on top. DRYLOC first then the paint or anything else. Keeps the dampness out.
You could do epoxy flooring like in a garage then put a rug on top where you need one. The foam board was a good idea bc it helps keep any moisture/heat/cold from coming in and messing with the electronics of the tv.
Looks good! I know it's a lot of work. If you find you want access to those windows again, you might consider putting the TV on that main wall on a swing arm.

You really made good use of the space you had.. it really looks nice… at some point you might stain the concrete floors and put 3-4 coats of polyurethane on them..
jerrie, he plans on putting a new floor on it. Does he need to put that many coats on it❓. We did only few coats on my dad's garage floor in Michigan. Asking to learn for myself in my laundry room on cement floor. Someone did a terrible job on mine. It started pealing off right away. Thank you Jerry.🀄✝️🛐🇺🇸

I hope you don’t mind if I make a suggestion..
When you decide to paint your floor, you might want to get yourself a decent sized tent to put all your furniture in so you can paint the whole floor at one time..
I’m thinking that the smell of the paint while it’s drying and the time it takes to cure so that your not chipping the paint moving the furniture around, might in the long run be easier than piecemeal painting.. plus you won’t have to sleep in fumes..

Good Job...There is a paint that they use on fireplace bricks & mortar that seals...we used it on the cellar floor in Vermont in
my parents home...came out great and really gave the 75 year old floor a new face lift...amazing sealers out on the market today...Cheers from Maine.

Just a practical comment: Poverty and crime are very prevalent in your area, your vids are informative especially for someone looking for an easy mark. To date you have shown Guns, Computer and tec items, the Big Green Egg and new tractor just to name the obvious. I am sure any potential thieves are very happy to hear about your new job. Security cameras recording to the cloud in case your dvr is stolen along with everything else. I would also suggest a few trail cams if your lucky a face or license plate may be captured. Take it from someone that lived in the middle of a national forest for years, be proactive especially since you wont be on the property 24/7 BTW very good editing look forward to watching your progress

Wet, bowed, knot-holed lumber that they sure are proud of. Hahaha! I'm so glad to find your channel tonight. Paint yes, but for a final on the floor do a resin pour or acid wash if you want to forgo the paint. Acid washed concrete can be amazingly beautiful. A resin pour on a painted concrete floor would also be amazing. Just a thought!

Paint on concrete is a game changer. Nice setup.
It turned out allot better then I thought it would. When I saw all that big furniture for that tiny cabin i thought you were crazy but it looks pretty cozy.
Look into getting the shop floor epoxy instead of the paint. It goes on smooth and it will be easier to keep clean.
We had a sun room with a concrete floor. I acid washed it and painted it with a lighter color solid base, then rag rolled a semi transparent stain on top, spot ragged on a copper metallic, and covered it all with 5 or 6 coats of clear. Came out looking like granite and still looks great 10 years later. Easy to mop and keep clean.

TY, it was interesting to watch you make the cabin into a cozy home. Perhaps in the future, you will be able to build onto the cabin and have a separate room for your bed and clothes. Then you would have both a living room and space for a table with chairs for eating meals.

I was saying it just as you said you hated the floors BEFORE you said it, Hell yeah Dawg, do that gray floors with the flake in it. That stuff will leave you a bullet proof fantastic looking floor. You got it arranged nicely with that rustic cabin vibe going on Martha Stewart. You got this Dawg !!! C'mon !!!
Later on you can build the home/ cabin you really want. And use the little cabin for Man Cave game room. And still have a place for a guest to stay. With kitchen and bath.
