Empath v psychopath, would be cool to see Walter follow David and sabotage his plans and an epic battle to see the positive and negative side to AI

David with Shaw's help recovered with no loss of ability is complete decapitation, so even the David model is very sturdy. Combine this with the Walter model improvements and the fact that David would have had limited time to defeat Walter and escape there is a very good chance that Walter survived.
The canon of it is unknown but there is a video short of a someone (a WY employee) visiting David's planet and getting facehugged. If this is canon then that means there is a ship on the planet available to Walter. One could even wonder if the same explorer coming across Walter or if he is still non-functional, his body and doing repairs to reactivate him.
It would be an interesting storyline to have Walter pursuing and attempting to stop David.
Somebody did a animated series where Engineers found him and repaired him. They went on a mission together to stop David. Was pretty good.
I believe there is definitely other ships because there were plenty of ships on the other planet they used for the experiments 🧪 he also thought Walther how to play flute which starts the craft also Walther body heals it self over time as seen and I believe that the planet they were on wasn’t the beings actual planet because all the people David killed were smaller and had human eyes 👀 not all blacked out like the super tall creators

In Prometheus, we saw David getting taught the fundamentals in the written and spoken languages that were derived from the Engineers language. Walter didn't have the same training but he could study the writings/language of the Paradise world inhabitants and whatever David left behind himself. I do believe if Walter was functional if Engineers found him he would be able to find a way to communicate with them and to explain what had happened and who was responsible. I'd love to see Walter chase David down and get some payback from him.

Thanks for the video! A novel about Walter's fate and his reckoning against David 8 would be awesome. To be honest, some of the novels from Titan Books seem a bit boring. This would be a fresh perspective for the Alien franchise.
I wonder if he will be mentioned in Alien Romulus, or David.
My idea for a third alien covenant/prometheus movie is as follows:
The engineers are the main characters in the movie and comes to the planet that was in the Prometheus movie.
There they find Weyland inside the crashed spaceship. They have a blue elixir which they empty all over him and bring him to life.
But while doing this the Deacon from the Prometheus movie sneaks into their spaceship and hide it self in one of the ventilation chambers.
In the next part they arrive at the planet from alien covenant and find the other robot(Walter) who is david's twin.The engineers use the blue elixir and repairs him.
Once awaken the engineers and Weyland get to know all the horrible things that David has done, and weyland says "we have to stop David" .
They set course for origae. When they arrive,they scans all the planet,and finds the planet is full of hostile organisms except
on a high mountain where they discover that there are humans inside a cave.
Inside the cave they meet a herd of children, who tell that when they had lived on the planet for over ten years,
they began to be attacked by Xenomorphs and all the adults died or were turned into these creatures.
There were also great giants developed by someone the children calls David.
The engineers get ready to wipe out all the Xenomorphs that David has created, but the great giants manage to escape with one of the engineers' spaceships.
The engineers and Weyland hunts the spaceship and manage to force the spaceship down on the planet lv426.Where it start sending a distress signal.
The engineers return to Origae to find David, but discover that he has escaped.
In the last part we see David arriving and meeting an unknown alien species
on a tropical like planet.
But when he and the unknown aliens have left the spaceship,the deacon slips out of the ship and is seen running toward the nearest settlement.
And that makes the cliffhanger that ends the third movie.

Walter turns up at the end of the next film with some backup. An alien species he contacted who follow him after he promises them the ultimate prey for their next hunt. The Predators!
I don’t know, these films have been getting worse and worse since ‘92, might as well have AVP 3 and get it over with…
Its also possible that Engineers that arrived on Paradise tried to move away from the planet ending up on LV-426.
Its possible that David or his Queen could have laid eggs in one of those ships, further steps on this run could have led to Xenomorphs attacking the crew of the ship and forcing it to land on LV-426 instead of reaching their base on the other moon of Calpamos.
However if this theory could be accepted, we should also taking into account that Xenomorphs have infected the Engineering crew of the ship and, if that is correct, considering that the resulting offspring take the traits of its host, then these Xenomorphs could possibly be the worst and strongest of the broods of Xeno ever seen in movies and videogames and comics.

I explored this theory with a fan fiction I wrote: Alien Awakening. I thought that Walter would go exploring on Paradise and find one of the ships to set off a distress signal. Alphas and the Dark Ones (the militaristic sect of Engineers) would come and rescue Walter and a hybridized Shaw-Alien, and track the ship to LV-426. The Covenant was automatically derailed from going to Origae-6 and a skeleton crew was awakened to take David prisoner & figure out why they were sent to 426. That sets up a battle between Walter and David with David being destroyed by the Shaw-Alien.
I posted the first version of this on the AVP Galaxy Forum if anyone's interested! But, I think that it's awesome to speculate because I don't think we're returning to this anytime soon... If they do, I hope there's a retcon to basically set the movies right without errors or plotholes, and make it more toward the Alien universe than something of its own.
I believe Walter is alive and may be the reason how the derelict ship winds up on LV-426
The novelization heavily implies he survives the fight, and that was based off the original script.
I’d like to think he recovered himself and communicated with the engineers sometime afterward. David proved to be much more dangerous than realized. Walter would have to prove he a relative to David that way they wouldn’t vaporize him on the spot. Walter would study the engineers. Or a darker plot would occur i that could be more of a bore but something of a plot to audiences.
Try a video on lv 223 being lv 426 and Vickers being the cause of the egg chamber in alien original film
My theory on that egg chamber is that it's a cargo container the Space Jockey Derelict was hauling through space. It and the ship set down on autopilot, and it got covered by dust and rock over tens of millennia. The Engineers, who are the SJ's slaves/children, simply use the same architectural approach in their designs.
@@sonofeyeabovealleffoff5462 my theory is that the Juggernaut that crashed in Prometheus was also the Juggernaut Derelict from Alien. Same holes. David may have wrecked the planets atmosphere with the Ion Explosion from Prometheus crashing into the Juggernaut, but once it landed on Vickers, her eggs and DNA merged with biomech ship and produced the eggs which have human DNA as a basis. The creator of the Engineers created them to act as sperm for fertile worlds to regrow it's race. Meaning humanity is simply a host in a truly alien reproductive system that is truly alien. The whole franchise is about alien reproduction.
My theory is that the ai created society that Ridley Scott wants to see is the AI from the Black goo now that it has achieved stage 2 a bipedal form.thr Deacon was in an education pod may be able to speak

The Derelict is wishbone-shaped and the Juggernaut is more of a donut. I'm sorry, my friend but despite what Scott says, Jockeys and Engineers are two different species. One begat the other as slaves.

The weirdest part if David could see the nano particles he could have been over written interms of programming by them and is not in control of himself. Also for Vickers to have been on that ship means David did inherit the company with Wetlands death which is why she brought up the arguing over who was in charge and why the women on the ship were older
Huh? From what I understood… I have a similar theory. David didn’t inherit the company - that’s not how corporate bureaucracies work - but I do think he has a back door into all WY operating systems. This is evidenced in the final scene where he controls the ship with voice commands and enters a restricted area. If this is true, then it’s possible that the arc for the prequel trilogy was to end with David destroyed but living on as a disembodied intelligence, secretly manipulating WY from behind the scenes, thus explaining the corporation’s original obsession with the Xeno. Then, Ridley could make additional films set after Alien 3.
@@thedaddyspider yes he did. That's why he had access codes in Alien Covenant and why Vickers came on the Journey she even said she was not going to argue about who was in charge after Wetlands Death, David in Advent even says he is the son of Peter Weyland.

@@thedaddyspider David specially ordered the crew of the Covenant if you read the Prequel Novel they were specifically chosen. The Juggernaut is the terraformer used by Wetland Yutani in Aliens, not the actual one as we noted in A:C it still produced water and note the Motes always by a water source. David inherited the Company and the discoveries he sent back propelled then forward

I have interest in Noah Hawley looking forward to the 2and alien covenant sequel s will eventually happen sometime as Michael Fassbender and also Katherine waterston negotiations with Ridley news from August 2023.
I guess you tied a story and all together and make it the final connection piece. For example, engineers did come back in they find Walter afterwards they go out to David and some unknown planet and then you said engineering most likely the lone survivor maybe this is towards the end chest burster burst out it’s a queen. Than it’s crashes. Now this will tie in to the next movie. If they decide to make a prequel to headless hope from the alien novel River of blood of what happened to Hadley’s hope now I digress back. To the ship the remaining engineers and android both get into a battle. The android wins the battle. Then you see him go to a part of the ship he about to turn the warning beacon on you show one more alien. He has a weapon. He kills the alien, but in return he gets spattered with acid. As he is melting away, he activates the weaken and his final words. It’s over now and then credits.
Whew ! This made me slightly happy to think Walter could have been temporarily decommissioned and could possibly find a way to escape and save the Covenant !.. A question that KILLS ME ABOUT DAVID ,, HOW IN THE FLAP WAS HIS HAIR ABLE TO GROW !!!???!!! 🤔
We see him dyeing it in Prometheus to blonde. It’s likely that’s synthetic have the ability to grow hair for customisation purposes
I wonder if walter could cut his severed hand out of the dead neomorph and reattach it since their blood isn't acidic and could there have been engineers still alive and in hibernation in which walter discovers them.

what doesn't make sense is how David fixed the scar on his chin left from Daniels so fast. Before the camera cuts away during the fight with Walter and David we see David going for a knife..so with that knife was David able to put down Walter for good?
there was a scene planned where more neomorphs showed up attacking Daniels & lope as they leave before the protomorph attacks & kills them which explains how david had the time to switch clothes & grab the ebryos...sadly taken out the final cut.

@@area51ville the alien fight scene is in the book, also they shot a part of the scene but never finished it (alien suits malfunctioning), but they could go an interesting route & say david transferred his consciousness to walter giving the android a split personality.

I think you need to play with the idea of "David and Goliath" and see what that leads into the next film if we ever get it. It was always meant to be a trilogy, but clearly it got way too messy and now we don't even know if we will get anything to conclude the David story. The David android story is a shoehorn into the Alien Franchise, not one that honors Ripley or even the mystery of the Xenomprohps really, it's placing his story above it all. I never liked that. But just wait till the TV series come out, they'll make it far worse. So... I can't complain about the movies honestly.
They will get back together for some more gay action
