W9w that was a huge relieved f0r me.. salamat sa lahat lahat Miss Jen..

1:29 I traveled this Aug 15 I am a natural born US citizen so not a balikbayan . I do the e travel each time I have travelled home . The first time I was allowed to come to the Philippines , I did the early version OHP and they did look for it but on subsequent visits they only glanced at it , this recent one no one looked for it ! 🤔 😅 I was surprised the Immigration officer stamped my passport with one year stay 😊, didn’t ask for a return ticket , nor how long I will stay 😃 Terminal 1 wasn’t too long of a line and moved pretty quick.. So it was a painless trip …

Question; Is arrival day still counting as day zero? source on that? Also got Balikbayan 6 weeks ago without asking travelling with my Filipina wife, got all the papers with us but did not need it this time :) Also we stayed 36 days and did not need to show return ticket in origin airport, I guess we should have to do that because they could not possibly know we were going to get Balikbayan. We used palawan pawnshop and world remit a few times and it worked well, just don't forget to bring you passport for id check. Also besides Grab, we used Joyride in Manila & Cebu and it worked as well as Grab :) Also we used metered taxis on a few shorter trips and it was actually half price compared to Grab & Joyride.

Just so you can let the public know that the customs form that is handed to passengers is a waste of time since 2 days ago they handed it to me in Singapore which I filled out and when arriving in NAIA terminal 3 I asked the immigration officer if he wanted he he said no, and said maybe customs wants it. And of course they never even asked me as I walked out of the customs area. Go figure more paperwork to fill out and trash when outside.
