- Detroit rapper Eminem has had a long career, and by many standards is seen as one of hip-hop’s greatest lyricists. His rhymes over the last two decades have been eclectic, but recently he’s sped up the pace with tracks like “Godzilla” and broken records with “Rap God.”

Godzilla makes rap god look like “Elevator Music”
1 year later, why do I have 1.2k likes for this
Not really, Godzilla wasn't really that superior to Rap God lyrically. Yah Yah ft. Royce and Black Thought is in my opinion so much better than both Godzilla and Rap God. If you have heard it, you would know how Em and Black Thought absolutely killed it. It is also by far the most bravest Eminem song because featuring Black Thought in a song? He has balls of titanium.
Eminem wrote Godzilla. Eminem didn't write Rap God, he just got on the mic and started rapping and it just happened.
Joshua Fajardo nah it says, “I make elevating music, you make elevator music”

The fast rap shtick gets annoying and old because of how useless it is. It's strictly to get attention and sell records
Xavier McKillop fast rap is impressive and is used as a gimmick. But being able to put intricate lyrics into a fast rap isn’t something all fast rappers do. Lyricists who can rap fast like Em and Tech and Twista aren’t common to find.
@@lazynin545 you're 100% correct. It is definitely impressive. But having that be the base of your music for guys like Tech, Token, etc. Is not good. With em, it's not the base, but the gimmick is annoying. It is definitely impressive but I'm tired of it.
@@xaviermckillop2765 the think is you can still understand what Em is saying when raping fast. It can get old after a while but if you have the skill and can make the lyrics mean something I don't see why they shouldn't do it
