My 2.2jts have very high petrol consumption. Intake valves cleaned new lambdas, decat... i also have some heat getting into the cab somehow, anyone with similar issues?

Hi mate! I have a Brera with this engine, and 160.000km. I think i have your same problem... It burns around 3l oil in 10k km. When does is started yours??

My problem appeared unexpectedly when I ran about 215 thousand km. The engine ate about 1 liter of oil per 1500 km.

@@tonyshel7672 Does it burn any oil after the fix? I am planning to buy Brera with this engine soon.

@@tonyshel7672 Mine is burning 230 ml per 1.000 km. Not sure if that is excessive oil consumption for this engine or not. The manual says up to 400 g per 1.000 km is normal, but that is just fake claim. I have replaced the PCV membrane 6.500 km ago. And cleaned the PCV system, including the hoses and the valve under the intake manifold (when I was doing the intake valve cleaning). Could be the valve stem seals, or the (a bit) stuck (or worn) piston rings. I have bought the car with 173.350 km (real), and now it has 180.300 km. What would you do?

I lifted the piston to top dead center with the crankshaft and it supported the valve from below. And so on for each cylinder.

@@danieloide787b Dude... Just put it in 6th gear, lift one side of the front of the car and turn the front wheel forward. It will rotate the crankshaft...
