i am slowly learning mandarin, hopefullly by this i can understand people better as i grown up in malay community enviroment, i rarely got a chance to interact with people from other races
i wish i can speak other language fluently selain BM and english , cuz damn .. ni sy belajar dr bapak sye lah , dia kata , kalau kau boleh cakap banyak bahasa , kau bukak business , kau tak de masalah buat marketing . Aku org sarawak. Org Iban. Time darjah satu masuk sekolah cina aku punyalah gelabah, sebab aku igt bahasa cina ni susah. First week aku diam je x cakap ngan siapa2. Pastu pergi tuisyen bahasa mandarin. Belum masuk tiga bulan aku dh boleh cakap bahasa mandarin dh lol. Aku ingat lagi masa darjah lima aku punya BC paper 2 dpt 88. Aku terkejut siak. Masalahnya kat sekolah cina, except for BI ngan BM, subjek lain semua pakai bahasa mandarin, tp aku boleh je faham teks kat buku. Sekarang umur aku 15. Sekolah kat SMK Kuching High. Form 3. So now aku boleh dikatakan boleh bercakap 5 bahasa, BM, BI, Iban, BC and Bahasa Indo(yg ni sebab aku selalu main game yg jadi boleh phm bahasa indo ni HAHAHAHA). Bukan aku nak sombong, but srs bahasa mandarin ni x susah pon. Kalau kau x pandai sgt tulis xpe, kalau boleh fluently cakap bahasa tu dh cukup dh. At least nak buat kawan and cari kerja lebih senang, ye la sbb kau tau 1 extra language kan. And it's really fun to explore other languages and other race's culture. And buat komen yg kena pin tu, ingat. MALAYSIA NI NEGARA MULTIRACIAL. "CARA MALAYSIA" YG KAU CKP TU IS HORMAT BANGSA, BUDAYA DAN AGAMA ORG LAIN. HORMATI BAHASA YG MEREKA GUNAKAN. OMG!! you and your brother are totally remind me about my past...during my university time, I took Mandarin level 1 and japanese level 1 courses in the same semester!! my friends told me that I was crazy...then another semester I took Mandarin level 2 and japanese level 2 and Tamil level 1 in the same semester, again!! even though I had to struggle like crazy, but it was such a satisfaction for me!! my friends said that I was the weirdest person in my faculty just because I took 3 different languages courses in the same semester!! I scored my Mandarin lvl 2 and Tamil lvl 1 and passed my japanese lvl 2.... unfortunately my university didn't offer the Korean and thai languages.....that was such an unforgettable memory for me....

i used to be in chinese primary school but once i entered college (i just turned 19) in a whole malay environment, i started forgetting too much alredi liaoo. im also sarawakian but raised in selangorr. you speak so gooodd, i can definitely tell you were a smart and hardworking student. pimple in mandarin i remember is dou dou aaah (im using my laptop i cannot type chinese character)

By watching this video, I finally remember some of the chinese phrases! Same like u, i also went to chinese school during primacy school and stop learning chinese during middle sch. no offence, learning chinese is fun what?! 😍 I miss learning 华语. What's the point to laugh at someone who try hard to master a new language? All I would wanna do if a person's trying to learn my mother tongue is to encourage them and give advices when they needed. It's not easy to learn a completely new language from the very basic, since you've put some much of your efforts on gaining the knowledges, why don't try to prove to people around that you could do it well? It's always not that easy during the very beginning, but as time flows when you starting to do so, you'll soon realize that 'Hey, this is actually not that hard as I imagined!'. Hence, 加油呀！😏😏
