Reading his warnings against schism in the church, and encouraging the importance of obedience to the bishops was key to my conversion from protestant to Catholic.

I converted in 2016. I just read in 1 Corinthians 1:10 where Paul warns the leaders to not schisms. I had never noticed that before.

This is great, but I would never read anything from "Jimmy Akin." He's very middle of the road, is wrong about many things, does not have sensus fidelium. The Jurgens set has good information, obviously, but is not well presented.
