- Overview: Today we will be checking out an abandoned power plant that is located at one of my favorite abandoned hospitals! Also we found a mini power plant with some awesome remnants! Join us as we discover what’s left! While this was not our original video plan we hope you enjoy!
- History: When the hospital first opened, it had less than one hundred patients. Over the decades, the number of patients and footprint of the facility grew exponentially. By the 1900s there were one hundred buildings on the site. In the 1960s, the institution reached its peak with nearly 4,000 patients. After the 1960s, the hospital population began to decline. With just three hundred staff members towards the end, the facility closed in 2006.

We have an earlier video in which we covered the entire inside of this beautiful hospital. This was more about footage of the beauty of the outside of this amazing structure and the peacefulness of the land in which this beautiful timeless hospital sits and decays hopefully to never be destroyed at the hands of humans but rather time and mother nature herself.
