Do you happen to know if it will stick to silicone clay shapers? That has been my only real complaint for using silly putty for masking. I know you can use wood/metal sculpting tools to push it into recesses, but sometimes I need something with a lighter touch that won't scratch the paint and that's where the clay shapers come in handy.
Could you tell me how it reacts with PE parts on a tank for example? I want to avoid putting the putty on my PE parts and ripping them off when removing the putty.
yeah be very careful around photo etch. Its not a strong hold but could be hard to remove around fine etch parts.
I used a toothpick to get it from my PE parts

Not at $35 I'm not...I think I'll stick to poster putty at $2 a pack
The product leaves a residue on the model. Paint does not stick to the model afterwards. Poor product
I have the same problem. This stuff is crap.
