It's crazy how mx sim is so old yet still one of the best moto games

59 years old now. Motocross Madness 2 was a blast. It had 2-strokes and 4-strokes, (as could be), and you can find cheater engines, just like we built them in real life, (made you crash more usually in the game though), and easily race other people on line. I played from my computer with a big joystick bought at a computer store/section back in those days. I don't remember signing into a club. Just get to the site, pick an open race, or start a new one for others to join. I remember some guy with the name "Hurricane" on a 125 going super fast. I don't know if there were on-line racing series or not, but I would have competed if I found one. Those days are gone. I ride a real MX bike again. :)
Mx madness took it to another level when you could free roam, and it was so realistic back then!
Man I remember having so much fun playing motorcross madness and midtown madness as a kid on the MSN gaming zone 😢

MM2 had an awesome track editor, I made several tracks and actually won awards for track building. It was a big online community with Tournaments. I still have an actual Trophy.

Hard to beleive that MX Unleashed was from 2004! That game was amazing for its time and had the best soundtrack out of any game that had been released up to that point

THPS wins the soundtrack award, but it was real good. So was the soundtrack for MX vs ATV Unleashed, I put hundreds of hours into that game in college.
@@alexnelson8Also The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 Soundtrack was extremely top notch with the likes of Guerrilla Radio by RATM, Blood Brothers by Papa Roach, When Worlds Collide by PowerMan 5000, and Bring The Noise by Anthrax and Public Enemy. Some people say that THPS2 is the greatest skateboarding video game of all time.

Forgot to add MX vs ATV Legends, which came out June ‘22 & you just missed Supercross 6, which came out a month after this video was made

In 1998 Motocross Madness was way aheqd of it's time.
Ricky Carmichael 99 had the best Soundtrack ever thanks to MTV. And ofcourse in 2006, Motorstorm was the very first game that deserved to be called nextgen game. None of the games in this video ever got us exited like Motorstorm.

I raced MX Madness 1 and 2 for days at a time. Best was online racing in mx madness 2. I was king when I finally earned a 2 digit # and lost it less than an hour later. Good times. 👍💯

Mx vs ATV was always fun. I really went deep into Trials though once Fusion released on PS4. I’ve got a few uploads of Trials, ninjas, diamond times etc.

Supercross 2000 was the first MX game i ever played & i played TF outta it.. i still listen to most of the songs from it too, to this day hahahaha that was the game where Mike Metzger & Brian deegan became my favorite riders to. I was always metz & my cuz was always Deegan hahaha

MXGP 2019 - самая реалистичная игра из всех пепечисленных по всех критериях. Правда незнаю на сколько удобно играть на джойстике в игру про мотоциклы, где следует играть на симуляторном стэнде в идеале. Хотя в таком случае проще купить себе кроссбайк и самому ездить на трэк, если есть возможность. Погода, наличие трэка, наличие мотоцикла, денег на бензин, экипировка, навыки и желание. Всё это редко сочетается в жизни, по-этому проще купить пс4 и на джойстике воплощать свою мечту в реальность (виртуальность), где нет последствий, травм, смертей, есть пауза, рестарт, возрождение.

They competed at the X-Games, Gravity Games, Dew Action Sports Tour and other FMX competitions!

Man, mx2002 was our jam at one time. Trying to nail lines or find little spots to shave time to keep beating each others fast laps haha. Didnt play much of the others. Tried mx bikes, couldnt get into it.
My favourite has to be MX vs ATV Untamed for the Wii. Has a soundtrack and courses that give you that nostalgia and summer vibes

Great video. Have played so many and never realized it. Supercross 2000 with Jeff Emig was such a cool game, but the MX vs ATV series won my heart. Just a quick note on the "Yamaha Supercross" title, you put 2000 and i do not believe this game was released then. Quick google search says 2008, what gave it away for me was the "YZ450F" toughblocks. That model wasnt rrleased til 2005 so very unlikely they were promiting it in 2000 when they were in the YZ400F/YZ426F era.
the problem with all games nowadays is that there getting to realistic, they need to have an arcade feel to it for fun factor
Moto racer 1 started with legit physics, then mx02 feat RC then mx unleashed held best physics for console games to this day. Finally mx bikes is the best in my opinion. You also forgot “Supercross Circuit”
