This prosecutor was so arrogant and full of herself she actually helped Baldwin get off and still didn’t get where she went wrong. The former prosecutors she assigned to the case knew this prosecutor was off her rocker. She destroyed this case with her pride, when clearly the Judge did not want the Prosecutor to testify, for her own preservation and that of the case. However because the Prosector was so very prideful, it might take her a month to figure out that she herself, ruined her own case against Baldwin! What a pompous ass!
If the DA is an elected position in her city, she’s in big trouble. Anyway, her career is in tatters 🔥
nah judge is wrong and anybody who knows the law knows what it looks like and its corruption on judges part when somebody has already been convicted with same evidence@@Jamietheroadrunner
Baldwin’s attorneys had filed a last-minute motion to dismiss the case, arguing that the state failed to disclose what could be key evidence, something prosecutors denied. Judge Sommer dismissed the jury earlier today and, this afternoon, agreed that this key evidence was enough to end the trial.
“There is no way for the court to right this wrong,” Sommer said when making her ruling this afternoon.
“The state has repeatedly made representations to the defense and to the court that they were compliant with all their discovery obligations,” the judge said.
The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the case can’t be brought against Baldwin again.
Them Baldwin pockets are deep!

Another conspiracy ? Grow up
@@Johnny5- prosecution fucked up big time nothing to do with money..
@@Johnny5 The facts were deeper.
Delightfully meaningful and scathing when the judge said the word "scorching" whilst looking up and (possibly) straight at the prosecutor.
You could almost see the smoking coming off the judge. She was NOT amused.
I've watched Judge Sommers ruling over a dozen times and that is my favorite part.
I am proud of this Judge for being fair and honest. Makes me believe in the system again.
Amazing judge sommer .
The prosecution screwed up big time.
One of the prosecutors resigned as soon as they started looking at this evidence. lol
No.
There was zero case.
Let me guess….CONSPIRACY ! Lol
DEI strikes again.
Kari Morrissey is just terrible.. glad she got exposed just how ugly she operates.
@@Ont785 Nah, he got deep pockets like Diddy.
The prosecutor needed to concern herself with her own and the CST 's demeanor instead of Baldwin's. The judge is not happy.
The judge didn't have a choice here. Non-disclosure is grounds for dismissal. That's like law 100 (even before law 101).
The irony is , the one who set Baldwin free was the (inept and arrogant ) prosecutor.
Marvelous explanation by Judge Sommers , Fair , Just and Honest analysis and judgement in this case ,
powerful words...this judge doesn't mess around! we need more judges like her!
That prosecutor is Toast. The whole world knows her corruption now!
Agree.. she was off putting the whole time.. but now she is exposed. Its lucky that the judge is so on point and cares about justice.
Stupid prosecutors
Corrupt inflated..
This wasn't about Alec Baldwin. This was preserving the integrity of our Judicial System. The Court determines the relevance of evidence, not the prosecutors or Police.
I am so thankful that the victims family can now see Mr Baldwin was sincere in his sympathy. And also, I hope he just quits and takes on responsibility of being a father to his children and enjoy that life
i’m glad she came to this decision. Objectively weighing the facts. this is a real judge.
This case should never should have been brought . The culprits have been charged .
The state wanted to get Mr. Baldwin and kept trying, regardless of the evidence.

Great job Judge Sommer. Congratulations to Alec Baldwin, this case should never have been prosecuted.
GREAT JUDGE! She saw through the prosecutor's prejudice against Mr. Baldwin.
Probably from that Trump impression
pos Baldwin took an innocent woman's life.
That the prosecution thought they could get away with it , they need to be fired
Somebody paid her off. And a woman’s murderer gets to be free….
@@jarodandshanti3749 I think you might need some meds....or therapy....or warch a comedy or something. You're miserable and obsessed.
The judge deserves real kudos for going over every element for dismissal, and explaining it in the courtroom. In all legal decisions, one must meet the elements. So, this was a fair and just move to throw the case out.
Lol, this is how every judge would do this.
It's standard. It's not some amazing personal decision of the judge.
@@aidancoutts2341 Really. Do you think Judge Cannon down in Florida conducts her courtroom so thoroughly and according to the letter of the law?

Complaint should go to the NM State Bar Ethics Committee
Someone's in trouble, and it ain't Boss Baby...
The prosecutor said she didn't even know this evidence existed.
Liar liar
It's her job to know that before filing charges and going to trial
The lead investigator testified that the prosecutor did know about it. Later in the prosecutor changed her wording from I didn’t know about it to I hadn’t seen it.
Yes shed did

Way to go u corrupt b
So, Hannah gets convicted and Baldwin get off Scott free? Figures.
Exactly, because she was in charge of the weapons, and he was given the gun and told it was safe.
@@sekos99that isn’t why he got off, he got off because the prosecution hid evidence from the defense.
The bedrock of the legal system is the guarantee that everyone is entitled to a fair trial. If the government is responsible for collecting and cataloguing the evidence then they need to make certain that the defense has access to it. If the government withholding evidence was allowed then there would be no fair trials.
He may not be innocent of the crime, but we will never know. We will never know because the government tried to rob him of his right to a fair trial. Innocent or guilty, that cannot be allowed.
They are corupt down there
you talkin bout Santa Fe? Oh yah!, talkin about New Mexico? oh yah!
So who fired the gun that took a life?
It's who loaded the gun that's responsible.
Well it's now irrelevant thanks to the prosecution trying to be sneaky
Alec Baldwin murdered her
@Wishes890 she is partially responsible, but Alec was well aware you always check a firearm, and never point it at anyone and fire it regardless. He is as culpable as her.
He did.
Pos is a murderer
The person that loaded live ammo is the guilty one.

Congrats to Alec! 🎉 It's finally over.
2 Tier Justice system. You think Trump would have got off???
What's your point, VonShitzinPants has delayed, delayed, if he's so innocent I'd be asking for trials to get underway, or can't he get Attorneys as they want paid.

Why are you a legal expert .I think not .
Public washroom law degree isn't worth the toilet paper it's written on.
@@michaelrowsell1160 There's alot of evidence to point to him doing it on purpose.
That said, the prosecution's team hid evidence that could have exonerated him , so even if he is guilty of it, he's free because the proesecution acted with malice.
That's not how the legal system works because I'll repeat this again.
the prosecution's team hid evidence that could have exonerated him , so even if he is guilty of it, he's free because the proesecution acted with malice.
If you have any issues, it should be with the malicious actions of the prosecution. No matter how you feel about alec baldwin , he , like any other defendant deserves a fair trial.
And thus the prosecutions actions were not in that vein therefor he was freed.
Clearly the judge was given a large sum of money, disgraceful judicial system
Prove it.
@@Wishes890 It's really pathetic that you go to that , its the same logic of ''if there's no body there's no crime''
@SwevtlannaBailey, no that wasn't the case.
The prosecution hid evidence in an attempt to nail Baldwin, and whether you like Alex Baldwin or not, the actions taken by the prosecution were unlawful and thus violated the process of law.
He was let free because of a malicious action taken by the prosecution.
if you’re going to claim corruption you should base that claim on evidence rather than your bias
@@discussioncornertheir needs to be evidence of a crime to make an accusation
No justice
Well the one who allowed live ammo in is behind bars. Not his fault.
This is outlandish. Should have gone to a jury to decide.
jury decides facts not law the law was on his side no need to weigh the facts. i supremely hope you get the same considerations if you ever find yourself on that side of the booth
Juries don't decide points of law or procedural things. Failure to disclose evidence means the process is tainted.
The prosecution got caught hiding evidence favorable to the defense. That's procedural, which means it's none of the jury's business.
DemocRATS protecting DemocRATS.
This isn't a Jury or Judge situation.
The prosecution hit evidence that could have freed him and they did it knowingly.
So no matter how one feels about the situation, this is on the prosection's team
Crooked judge didn't even go to the jury
It couldn't proceed and go to the jury. The mistakes by the prosecution couldn't be repaired.
Wonder if Alec Baldwin ever uses a gun in a movie scene again. Will he check to see if it's loaded?
Great job judge❤
liberal judge
I
I wonder if his Spanish wife has finally learned how to properly pronounce 'cucumber' yet.
ask her
In another trial a witness tried to describe the defendant's mushroom. Baldwin would be happy to talk about his large cucumber.
She’s a Baldwin supporter. No surprise here
That's so childish. And if she did look the other way, then what; she wouldn't be a fan of Baldwin's acting? Grow up.
💯 true
Prosecution + 💰💰 = dismissal
It's weird how the Judge actually has a history of working in television production for a few years, showing a clear personal interest in film.
What's weird about that?
more crooks paid off
Hopefully Hanna gets out too. They witheld evidence.
The evidence makes her look worse. This was totally her fault. She failed her only job and performed her safety role, likely while on drugs. She was terrified about the drugs in her car when law enforcement showed up.
Actually no. Her attorney knew about this evidence. This evidence was given to the sheriff office by a defense witness in her trial. He gave the sheriff this evidence after the trial ended. Why because her defense chose to not present this evidence at trial.
If money can buy Justice why is Trump guilty
Because Of Liberal Judges Abuse Of Power
Sad to see someone get away with MURDER especially when the MURDERER is also AN ALCOHOLIC, A DRUG ADDICT, A WIFE BEATER and a CHILD MOLESTER. I guess this proves that 💰💵💰💵💰💵💰💵 IS KING!

In the Judges wording of she put word emphasis on "to ensure the INTEGRITY" of the judicial system and the efficient administration of justice". To me the emphisis was on the Lawfare overreach that has been exibited recently by the Justice Department and the N.Y. Court in the Trump cases.
This is about Baldwin and Rust not Cheeto Mussolini
