Members of the Royal Family were visibly emotional as they viewed the flowers and tribute left for the late Queen Elizabeth II at the gates of Balmoral.

I feel so for Princess Anne - she was very close to her mum.
Happy Princess Anne is also so very close to Zara and son.
I love princess anne I wish she was next in line
@@shaskins15 me too, she would make a wonderful queen, just like her mother.
She needs to be a Counsellor of State in place of Hasnobrains. He cannot do that from California, and any secret papers he photographed would be shared with his wife and then Netflix. He already owes NF millions. $$$
She’s the one I most admire. I wish she could be queen.
Anne is more like her Mum. She can control her emotions in public. To be honest it is probably really difficult for them to do this front of cameras, they probably just want their privacy. It is so sad to see them this way. It was a few short weeks ago we seen them all enjoying the Jubilee Parade and having fun.😪😪😪
Seriously though, as soon as I heard the news my mind just leapt back to the jubilee, feels like it was only a few days ago when the streets were lined up with crowds cheering as she walked out onto the terrace to greet all the well wishers. I hoped she would make it to atleast 100 years but all good things must come to an end eventually. Rest in peace her majesty. God bless her majesty, king charles and the world.
The Queen? Prince Philip? Often said they wished Anne had been the heir rather than chuckles, for that reason.
A bit of emotions isn’t a bad thing. The monarchy always should adjust itself to the people since it’s raison d’etre is to be their symbol. If British society has changed such that more emotional expression is expected, then they follow suit.

What stood out to me was Princess Anne’s husband Tim and also Prince Andrew immediately took out their glasses - meaning they were actually going to read the cards, not just glance over.
It doesn't matter whether you lose your father, mother, grandfather or your beloved grandmother. You lose a loved one who has been by your side for years. And whether you're royal or commoner, the pain is the same, it's very deep. I wish you strength.

Sono d'accordo......ma queste sue affermazioni valgono anche per il principe Harry!!!!

Everyone of the royal family respectfully show their love and togetherness in behalf of her Highness Queen Elizabeth II . Salute !
My heart goes out to Eugenie. She was very close to her Grandma. Her emotions were pure and honest.
So upsetting, and Beatrice bless her I think because she was so upset she was trying to avoid the cameras
All their emotions were.
Beatrice wore her dress for her wedding, and both grandparents were there for her as she also was loved by both grandparents.
My heart goes out to that dreadful hat she wore to Billy’s wedding.
@@vitospatafore9737 Do you mean the wedding of William and Catherine the Prince and Princess of Wales? If you are commenting on that hat from 11 years ago you are sorely behind the times. Both Princesses were good sports about their hats and auctioned them off for charity I believe.
To see the younger royals displaying emotions was so genuine and at the same time heartbreaking, yet a reminder she was more than just Queen Elizabeth to some. Condolences to the family. 🙏😥💔
There's a lovely video from a few months back where Princess Beatrice, acting as patron for a senior citizen's organization speaks with a lady suffering with dementia. The exchange goes something like this;
Lady: You're one of them Royals, aren't you?
Beatrice: I am.
Lady: How are you related?
Beatrice: The Queen is my granny.
Lady (looking surprised with big eyes): Ooooooo!!
Beatrice: Yes, I'm VERY lucky.
It's really heartbreaking for them, I'm sure, having lost their grandfather last year, and now, their grandmother.

Prince Edward’s wife Sophie, truly seems so sweet. She seemed to be close to the Queen and Prince Phillip and certainly genuinely emotional for their loss as a family member.
Think this is the first time I have ever seen Princess Anne show emotion. When she was walking with her children behind her, you could tell she was fighting back tears. I know they are told to keep their emotions in check in public but I think it is just too much right now. When I saw Andrew comforting Eugenie, I started crying

I actually think it's disrespectful for the other family members for Andrew to be there, but what can one do?? @@kc4208 Oh, go and play in the traffic. If you don't care that's fine but leave other people alone.
@@angelatester2471 that's so very rude thing to say, madam, I am Irish and we showed the Mountbatten's the proper I respect as a grieving family
@@carolinebyrne4995 I was replying to KC's comment who was being patronising and condescending to the previous comment who did nothing but express her personal grief.
@@angelatester2471 when my oldest brother, who served and fought in the first gulf war, held a g.n to his head and shot himself .... WE were experiencing personal grief. When my only other brother (served in the airforce overseas in Afghanistan after 9_11), who is 2 years older than me, held the g.n to HIS HEART on june 16, 2015 and pulled the trigger .... that was personal grief.
I was SOOOOOOOOO distraught that i could not function .... these two men, particularly the younger were part of my personal world (meaning our interactions were face to face and our personal experiences shared), so the grief was personal.
I know yall think we cant understand your relationship with your queen ..... but i do .... we have celebrities and my favorite is mariah carey. I feel like she has been with me and a constant source of strenth and comfort throughout my life .... but i know well enough that "our relationship" is one sided .... she loves her lambily, and she sends messages to her lambs all the time when things are crazy in the world ... but she cant be there for each one of us and she would never try. The queen is no different .... she will meet and greet and give addresses and show comfort at scheduled events .... but she has a personal private life as do celebrities. When mariah dies, if i am here still, i will shed some tears ...
But i could never call it personal grief .... she did not know me personally .... only i knew her and lended myself to her fanbase which is what helped to support her all these years, even after her career took a nosedive. That is the meaning of the british ppl to the queen .... individually, she could not and would not attempt to meet you in your personal needs ... but to get a few of you to show up and accept her gracious gesture to meet with her for a minute or two works wonders for making everyone think she would do it for each one of you. The royal family's livelihood depends on good pr ... like celebrities
Make sense??
My mother was the same age as the Queen. She passed away three years ago. The grieving process has never stopped. The Queen was always like a mother to me, I swore allegiance to her and looked up to her with filial devotion. My sympathy and condolences to the Queen's children who bear the brunt of their mother's loss.

Same for my grandmother (1926-2019). It's sad seeing that generation go.
I lost my mum three years ago as well. I still cry every day.😥🤧
my mother died in 2016, the Queen reminds me of her, so it's really moving sometimes I cry

I really love the Low profile Princess Royal Ann & her family. Zara is devastated .. God bless and heal their hurts of losing The Queen.
Two minutes and nine seconds, priceless.
There should be a cost to it though. I guess there has already now I think about it.
I'm American and this moment was very emotional for me. RIP, dear exceptional Queen. God bless the Monarchy. 🙏
I'm American and love the Queen , funny how we Americans had to break away from Britain those many years ago , and yet their society is so extraordinary , their history so amazing , rest in peace dear Lady and Best Wishes to Charles 3rd who has had years of preparation ....

As a dutch citizen I have much respect for Elizabeth, the British queen. She really gave her life to duty for her people the best way she could. Wow...what a character and woman. R.I.P. queen.
Yah
Ik heb ook heel veel respect . Ze was een lieve Queen en wist wat haar plicht was.

The grandchildren look especially moved. Even the spunky Zara. That says a lot.
I like Princess Anne and Zara and that side of the family. Princess Anne is the hardest working royal and was there with her mum alot at the end. Nice lady, nice children.
Grief is grief & pain is pain..they are no different to anybody else on that one..❤
Condolences to the Royal Family. Nice to see them showing the emotion that they did especially the younger grandchildren. RIP Queen Elizabeth.
No matter how old you are when your parents die, it’s devastating.
