Good video, I'd prefer the sound of the saw . That way I could hear how hard the saw had to labor. 😊

Great video ! You have some nice planks :) Hey friend the longer the bar the better it work, The more angle you can get when your cutting the faster it will cut :) I used an Alaskain mill Until I bought a Woodland HM122 mill :)) So well worth the money !

Yeah I got one and it works sweet as. The tube is a bit light I just got a heavier gauge Ali tube. You also need to wear hearing and dust protection mate. Keep safe.

Well done. It looked like the last foot or two of each slab You were pushing a pile of sawdust. Maybe from all the wind it just kept building up in front of you. Or maybe you didn’t sweep off before you started. Good luck

I can't remember exactly, but the longest bar it takes is a 36". It also exists in a 48" configuration

You used a ripping chain is it not quicker, cleaner cut and easier on the saw to use a skip chain.
I have used ripping chains to cut with the grain opposed to against the grain.
Please correct me if wrong I would need advice on milling.

Hey! I just saw your comment. Personally I've always used a ripping chain. I don't know much about skip chains, but I don't know how clean the planks would be. Something to look into
