They are all beautiful, but I agree 100% that the NKJV Verse by Verse Classic Center Column Reference Bible is tops! The red accents in the center column references are especially helpful. Thanks & Blessings!🙏📖

My favorite reference Bible, besides the Thompson Chain, is the NIV Delux Single Column reference bible. Available in the premier collection and in leathersoft. The unique feature is that at the bottom of the page are topical links, working similar to the Thompson Chain. The references are in the outside margin at the top but the inner margins are generous enough that the text (9.5 comfort print) does not fall into the gutter.

I’ve heard good things about that one. I don’t typically use the NIV so I only have the heritage, but I’d probably love the layout of the reference.

My Favorite reference Bible is as far as I know only available in the NIV, which is my primary Bible. It is the NIV single Column Delux reference Bible from Zondervan. What makes this one so special is besides extensive cross references in the outside margins it has topical references on the bottom. This almost like having a Thompson Chain and a reference bible in one. There is no separate list of topics and the Topical links are not numbered but it is a simplified system so easy to use. I have the LeatherSoft edition but it is available in the premium line.

I’ve seen that one but don’t have any personal experience with it. Sounds like a nice little system. I like when publishers include a similar referencing system from a larger idea (like the chain system) but shrink it and make it more manageable.

Its a pity that the NKJV isn't really a translation I use, because you showed us some very nice typesettings. Those rebinds of yours look great too, very nice work.
Its nice to see the slate goatskin Quentel ESV. I really like that "colourway" from Schuyler.
The highlight of the video for me though is the NASB Wide Margin Reference. Its a great typesetting, a large print, and a pretty good price. Its what I'm using daily now.

Thanks for the encouraging words on the rebinding, I’ve been putting a lot of time into it! I was happy when Lockman released the wide margin. It made it so much easier to get one since the only previous option was the Stridon.

The first Bible you showed would be my preference. I prefer verse by verse, two column, center references, with red letter text in the New Testament. I also like the NKJV translation. I'm finally going to have cataract surgery in June so I should be able to read smaller print soon. Yes, 10 point has become a struggle for these old eyes!

Schuyler checks all the boxes for me. My everyday carry is the Personal Size Quentel. For simply reading without any distraction, the Treveris is absolutely perfect. As far as a reference bible, the Stridon is my preferred layout. A step outside of Schuyler would be Crossway's ESV Study Bible...an amazing option for the typical "Bible Nerd".

Schuyler makes some of the best.👌🏼

@@biblecornerreviews I have eleven Cambridge bibles and not one of them contains the slightest flaw. However, two of my five Schuyler's are flawed. Schuyler publishes a very nice bible, but I think their quality control is not up to Cambridge's.
And for the price, I don't think Thomas Nelson bibles can be beat - especially if you're an NKJV fan.

@@guymontag349 Unless you have a church or a Bible study in your home, why in the world does anyone need 11 Bibles?! And ones that are $100 and up?

Nelson has the best quality-to-price ratio for sure.

Mine is the Thompson chain if that counts.

That is a beast of a reference Bible! I haven’t used mine that much but it is an older layout. I think I’d like Nelson’s new typesetting better.

@@biblecornerreviews It's absolutely an improvement. And the normal size is comparable to what was the large-print one under Kirkbride.
