Essentially they are just building a wall of defense against water intrusion. The MVP over the substrate serves an additional line of defense. Not to mention they have to secure the ISO in place through some fastening method. What would you do?

Tar too cold and mop man must be rookie. No flow ahead of roll.whwn he rolls out rolls. Tar must be deep enough to see a flow in front while it rolls out . Mop man barely out down any tar ,this is a crap roof systym in first place . I used to do polyester polymax 3 ply and coat in tar and later paint with aluminum paint. Great 50 year roof. I see my jobs from 30 years ago we did and roofs are doing great still.

Just had Hy Grade Roofing install a metal roof at my house. Worst decision I could have made. They promised to install the roof in 4-6 weeks, of course they were late. When they finally showed up without the proper equipment and damaged my property. They are really proud of the “Quality Audit” that they do, but of course they won’t give you a copy of the audit…lol BTW -the “Quality Audit” they did at my house consisted of 2 guys coming over to pickup the leftover junk they left at my house for a month. They never even went up on the roof! Save your money use someone else!
