- SILVINO LUBOS IS NORTHERN SAMAR'S SUMMER CAPITAL.
And its cool air is certainly appealing! The people are so relaxed too... a good vibe place.
Travelling to a nearby remote barangay named Cababayogan, we went hunting in their river - for river shrimp, crabs, and frogs!
More is coming up from here, for sure. I won't forget this place quickly!

You are amazing, Kumander Daot, you win the hearts of the Filipinos! Mabuhay ka! 👍👍👍
The seaside is equally stunning as the hinterland. That handcrafts sold on the road was quite a masterpiece. You could've got one of those hats......if it fits on your head. :)
You are doing great with your drone and story telling. You have a great voice for this media. Keep up the good work
Babayu is how we make lupak, masarap po yan, nilupak na palawan
My father was soldier and their battalion was stationed there in Silvino Lobos in the early 90’s. The only way to get there is by foot. Yes, we trekked mountains and rivers just to get to Silvino from Mondragon. We used to play with kids there and people there are so kind and friendly. I remember the hill and the church. I also remember an amphitheater just below the hill where the mayor’s house was located. I really hope to go back there in Silvino Lobos in the near future. ❤
Ang fog!!! Oops I heard frogs pud. Epic vlog as always pang National Geographic. Love the drone shots. So raw, so real, surreal.
The fog! It was like no other! So magical!
@@KumanderDaot indeed! So are your bisaya skills. 👍 Can't wait for the next 🙌
Those people are so happy, amazing adventure thanks for the ride Kumander.
You are truly blessed to experience these villages - I pray that one day I do - thank you for showing us 👍🙂
Sir KD your communication with the population young and old are so amazing. God bless you and your family.
"life in the barangay is a celebration for simplicity" love it -N
Really appreciated it 😁
@@KumanderDaotyour writing is underrated. -N
The quality of your videos have come a long way from when you first started your channel. You've got great drone shots, great camera work, clear audio with matching background music and of course your made-for-the-opera voice narrating the journey. Very impressed!👏
Yes SILVINO LUBOS is a little Baguio of Northern Samar.
Mabuhaaaaaaaaaay KUMANDER DAOT 😂
Good morning 😁

In southern quezon palawan is known as "galiang". In many parts of the visayas and mindanao its "paw". Its really best pounded known in the bisayas as "nilupak". Sometimes they are made in "suman" or "budbud".
Let's gooo Chef Daot :D Awesome place grabe
Off the gridderrrrrrrrs 😁
Frog legs lami kaayo!
Here in Louisiana they are common and readily available on most any night.
Many CZcams videos on catching cleaning and cooking them
First time I ate frogs legs was in France! I guess it's part of that same heritage, right?
The way filipinos give directions on where to go is such a vibe 🤙🏽
So lush! Ha, I tried to help with the huge mortar as well when we visited, it’s hard 😂 Love seeing those older houses made of wood
This is so informative, Ansel. I've been eating palawan, but just came to knew here how it is being harvested. Thank you for this. Great watch! Very happy people and culture there in Mindanao. I've never been there yet. Haven't seen my kababayans in person there yet. Thank you for bringing them to us, Kumander Daot! Hehehe. Power-on! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Sorry froggies Kumander likes you Amping KD
Wow, Anselm that's majestic...sea clouds...thank you very much for sharing this to us.....

I live now here in the City of Sydney Australia. But my Heart is always in my home town. Thanks for your CZcams channel I enjoyed watching it.
U are d right promoter of the beautiful unseen areas of d Phils..well done mate..
The early morning drone views with the low hanging clouds are magical and beautiful!
Looked like those people were doing the motorbike version of the Rainforest Challenge. 8:44
Palawan reminds me of taro. If it is taro, it's a variant of the taro found in Hawaii that is used to make poi. The one you were eating has a white flesh, while the one in Hawaii is darker colored and when pounded to make poi is a purplish grey color.
Similar to taro... but different, I'd say! Same same but different haha. It's got its own distinct flavour!
I was actually thinking about the Rainforest Challenge with all these rivers haha!
The fog was absolutely incredible... something I won't forget!
@@KumanderDaot "Same same but different" was my take on it, too. haha! Similar shaped leaf, grows the same way with the corm at its root, which is also eaten.
KUMANDER DAOT is more Pogi than Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. 😅😅
Ingat & keep safe kumander Daot😍😍.. luv it your vlogs even me as a Filipino first saw the actual view of that place tnx your vlog now I see the place that I could not reach before. 💖💖😘😘

That was the most beautiful place you have vlogged! WOW 😲
Truly fantastic mate! 👌 Picturesque & giving your audience deep insights of the villages. It's truly educational abt how the Palawan was harvested, prepared, and cooked. Healthy. And kids love your friendliness too. I doubt foreigners hardly go there. Bottom line, another wonderful episode of Samar. ✨👌✌️
The color of the fog is beautiful. Here in Metro Manila, the fog is a dirty white, hahaha.
Yeah, KD. You are mastering the documentary camera and editing work. I'm very happy for you. You feel the documentary fiber as you put it together. You feel and work with the dynamics while you face the subjects.
I sow you yesterday in Kulas vlog.
Keep it up, big guy
Always appreciate it! Have a great day!
Very thank you sir comader daot for parts of youre contents may respected place

Thank you for sharing komander🥰
Wow!! Thank you for this video Anselm.
you are on a steady schedule again MY FRIEND! hahahaha
Maybe I can keep this up for one more week hahaha
Mr. Plummer...23 degrees, eh? You should have been wearing your Baguio hat, instead you appeared to be wearing an Amigo hat. And flying your drone in foggy weather... did you forget what happened at Lake Holon? Using Moses' staff to make mabyao...babyao, that's brave. Watch out for lighting strikes, eh. I think your security detail was the only thing protecting you from a random lighting strike. BTW. The beauty of that land and sea are stunning. It's great to be alive!
I must say. Your vlogs are always interesting to watch.
Ingat lang sa biyahe Kumander Daot.
Deja Vu, been here 20 years ago and am seeing same structure and not so familiar faces, but the good thing is there is a road already going to Silvino Lobos. Way back then we have to ride on a boat and trek the river upstream for 8 hours.
That's the red jungle fowl, a rare wild chicken (Labuyo)😍
Northern Samar has one of the most beautiful coastal road that can rival Ilocos, Aurora, and Batanes.
Exactly, greatings from Laoag, Ilocos Norte❤
One of my favourites!
Kumander Daot subscriber went up so fast, all his content like kulas Good vibes only. Keep it up kumander daot.
Remember this, youl’l become famous vlogger in Philippines someday…Mark my words! He is kind of lovely and happy person to the people surrounds him. Enjoy your vlogging
Nilupak na Palawan, Kumander!
