The ES-339 with custom pickguard probably started off as a kind-of-uncommon ES-390, based on the tailpiece (no filled holes for a stock stopbar), year, and appointments (block inlays, etc). A very cool get for whoever snagged it!
Why not write a quick web scraper script that immediately archives the pages? Then you can peruse them at your leisure and not have to worry about being late. Just a thought. Most of the packages are prewritten in python.
@@hkguitar1984 I think this guy might be a bit overqualified to teach him that, though because Trogly can read (I have video evidence of him reading), he can do it himself. What would be more complicated is making a program that copies the page every time the page is modified. Not that I can write one, but that is what he needs.

With his growing family/young children as well as his business I can't imagine Trogly would have the time to learn even simple programming.
The double pick guard is because some lefty players learned on a right hand guitar and play a right handed strung guitar left handed so the strings are reversed. When those guys play a guitar they need the pick guard on the top not the bottom.
That 3 pickup SG is the only SG I’ve ever seen that I’ve really liked, the flames and sewer silver reminds me of a primer painted rat rod that has been buffed over time from hands, and weather because it never got around to being painted .
Is it a cinnamon spicy or like a pepper spicy? I'd never heard of such a thing until I read your comment and did a search! (I don't get out much and I've not drank a soda for many years).

The toggle switch has a hint of what looks like brass which to me this should've had gold aged or not hardware. You suppose they were going for the ying yang look on the left gold top. Even your controls had two black and two gold. Not particularly a fan of the rose gold. Reminds me of a coffin color . I'd say that 60th anniversary looks like something you would've found at C&M but honestly the guitars tended to be in a lot worse condition and they still wanted full scale price.
The headstocks get darker because more end grain is exposed in the wood since they cut it at an angle and the stain soaks in more on the headstock and heel.

As someone who's played live locally nearing 30 years soon, I cannot stand satin finishes. They feel so greasy after a few months use. The dont buff into a semigloss feel like people claim, and you cant refresh or restore a satin finish. For me, a satin finish anything anywhere is an instant red flag do not buy. Idc if they take a $13k Slash guitar, satin it entirely and price it at $500, I would not buy. I'm speaking as an end user, not a collector. As someone who intends to give instruments their best life by actually creating music, I won't buy satin again. In my experiences, polyurethane finishes hold up the best long term playing and feel amazing. I'm not fond of nitrocellulose either but tolerate it for my Gibson. But in regards to you saying players might like satin, no. As a player, hate it. Satin is pretty to look at as a wall piece but its a shame to waste a guitar like that just being a decoration.
Finally someone said it, I hate satin. Gloss is fine if you play the thing for a bit, most things have to be worn in, and you can always dull it. There's a reason satin has a history as a cheap finish.
The rosegold sparkle custom was nice. And I have no idea why, but I liked the flip flop flame pickup covers on the sg tribute

I liked the Flying V 7-String, and that Rose-Gold Les Paul was really beautiful.

The SG was great, I used to own a 67 SG Custom very similar.
