Morning Roy, what a wonderful video! Really interesting to see to see the museum and hopefully one day I'll be able to check it out in person. I reckon I've got most of those names at the beginning, but there are a couple that I can't quite pin down! Clearly I need to watch more from David Lean, (had no idea he made a film with Ava Gardner). That dressing up section looks like enourmous fun 😂 And what a train! Amazing to see a real steam train in person, it looks like something Poirot would have travelled on.
@goosesmovies I'm fairly sure Ava wasn't in a Lean movie so I think it was just there for a bit of fun. Yes it's a fantastic visit. You're in the north aren't you? So wouldn't be too much of a trek. It's a 3 hour drive for us but we'll worth it
Hi Roy, so happy you were able to return to the museum 👌 on the who are the wall… I’m saying Ava Gardner…Talulah Bankhead (from Lifeboat) Elizabeth Taylor…Marlene Dietrich….im not 100% on the top right two photos (I have my suspicions though) Charlie Chaplin… Vivian Leigh and possibly Claire Bloom 🧐 hopefully I got a few 😁 they have the same Brief Encounter poster that I have 👌 Leans film versions of Oliver Twist and Great Expectations are very good movies 👍 exit through the gift shop 😆 nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
@kermitsghost thanks Alan. It was the start of a great day's exploring that included a farm shop and some amazing parts of coastline. ❤️ I'm definitely going to have to explore Lean's vision of Dickens. 😊 👍
I recently picked up the Blu-ray now i have seen the movie brief encounter but i was maybe 25 year old i really want to watch it now im older i think i will appreciate it more , great video mate 👍🏻

@popcornandhorror thanks Ash. Yes we have had a very enjoyable and good weekend. We're going into Lancaster today so HMV and CEX will be on the cards and then homewards. Yes the new mug is sure to make an appearance 👍
@roybarratt5609 I'm the same mate, I don't often film much in the store's themselves, unless it's really quiet and no one is around. I tend to try and just film the odd shop front before I go in and a bit of b roll of local interesting things, slap it all together and it's a basic day out video 😅 obviously no pressure from me mate, do whatever u find most comfortable 😎👍🏻
What I find amazing is that as one of our greatest directors David Lean was only ever awarded a CBE
