Overall the Alterac Mountains are a very mixed bag for me, I definitely like some of the cool rares you can get (although I was dissapointed I didn't get to use the pacifier). But I think it probably doesn't get enough credit as a zone for rares partially due to the sheer lack of quests in the area.
Narillasanz will always have a place in Vanilla wow culture as well and its nice to see something so unique like a rare that patrols the entire zone!

Me and my friend took Narillasanz at about lvl 40 on *cough* Turtlewow *cough* and I think they added a specific blue item for him (or he randomly dropped a theme-appropriate red dragon scale trinket). The first thing you might notice is the sound of wings flapping behind you when you meet him...

That 2h mace from LoGrosh is sooooo good. 4.0 attack speed is godlike at that level. Great for Pallies, as they don't get a great levelling weapon from class quest at that level, unlike warriors with their whirlwind axe.

I found a pacifier but there's literally never another one on the AH all week. Does anyone have an idea what it might sell for? I'd have to imagine it's an insane twink item for shaman and pallies.
I played Vanilla and just leveled my rogue in classic and have never seen this dragon before ever. I grinded in vanilla in this zone for a very long time because I didn't know about questing.

You would think more rare mobs would drop really good stuff more often. Only the tidal charm is godly
So that's why i couldn't find that dragon. I've seen him twice flying next to river , but both times i was on fly master so i couldn't fight him. I still remember following the river in hope that am going to find him , but sadly i've never seen him afterwards : /

Araga has 24-32h respawn on vanilla so its probably the rarest cat in game
Would you say his model is unique as well? I couldn't think of another cat model with a stripey tail like Araga has.
